slowly chipping my way through Autechre's NTS sessions. Unfortunately my schedule doesn't have 8 hours free to listen to one album

Re: What are you listening to now?
My last favorite from Rock'n'Roll was Frank Zappa.
At first sight it seemed like a parody or some trolling.
But when you dig deeper, I think their LIVE shows were better mixed and sounded stellar.
And a few words on his guitar playing style.
It's not as clean and pre-calibrated as guitar poseurs like Malmsteen and Vai.
But it feels more like a complete on-air improvisation.
So fluid and not cliched.

been rather stuck on the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix of John Summit for about a month now (it debuted in late Feb).. the mix is not strictly a Chicago house style, but the energy of the mix is pretty damn infectious (to me)

I’m really into the influence of World/Specifically African music on post punk new wave
Remain in Light has been getting a lot of play lately but this Clash song is perfect for this rainy spring day

Q: What is more tantalizing than a Macbeth Micromac-D?
A: Four Micromac-D's at once.
