dublab presents: Bag Full of DATs – Lost Electronic Music from the 90s

When dublab moved to its new building in December 2021, we found lots of old archives, equipment and miscellaneous things in our closets and storage areas. Among those things, we found a bag of DATs (Digital Audio Tapes) with demos, unreleased material and old radio archives. The dublab staff transferred these cassettes and we are now making them available to our listeners via this limited radio series. Tune in and enjoy gems from the mid to late 90s. The tapes were for the most part untitled or with faded notes, however, the audio was in perfect condition. These tracks are a document of the electronic music scene of those years and offer a rare view to the production styles musicians had with the technology of the era.
