Thanks!

I absolutely love the Bassline! Sometimes I like a little 303 (which is why the TD-3 is there or sometimes the TT-303) but others, I want something much different. This fills the role of "much different". The detune/chorus circuit is cool, it overdrives like crazy if desired, there's more envelope control, the filter can go from tame to ridiculous, and the sequencer is one of the best I've used on a bassline synth. It's also built like a tank. I haven't even touched any of the additional connectivity on the back yet. I'll probably sequence the modular a bit with it at some point.

That sounds wonderful. Got nothing but great things to say about Erica so glad to hear the bassline delivers. I recently grabbed a drum sequencer and wow and flutter pedal that they started to produce after snazzy fx licensed it. Both built really well and functioning perfectly. Shipped extremely fast on top.
Will strongly consider grabbing a bassline after the DIY backlog is cleared. Seems like the bassline is a really capable sequence, looking forward to hearing your thoughts on how it interacts with modular.

On the DIY front, I have a number of pcbs of yours waiting to be built when time permits. Finishing up another LW hammond boat today and getting the last few bits CLEE quantizer build done later. Then hopefully I can get a panel done for a couple RLPGs and Angle Generators. The flexwave looks and sounds really great too from what i've heard. Been meaning to grab the parts to build one.

Since a week or so my studio is one of my racks, placed in my livingroom. Been working on a liveset that is starting to get rather ripe.

There's so much going on. I'd never get anything done. Too many options for my attention span but my goodness if it's not a beauty to see all the stuff in one place. Great for a jam session to prove to friends modular doesn't make you a mad scientist.

It's a good point. Having the acoustic room finished has been a godsend! I can focus on what's important.......

Sorry, just now saw this. Moonglow was cool for sure! Skara Brae was a pretty interesting place too. I like some of the places in Serpent Isle too, though they always felt "off" somehow after being in greater Britannia for so long. I guess that's how you were supposed to feel in that one and Pagan though. Yew was kind of cool too.

Dude, I wish I had yours at times! Sometimes my 8 string is too much for me :tu:
6 string would be more fun.

I took a shot ... that's a $199.00 MLX I bought 6 or 8 years ago from Musician's Friend. Right away I replaced all of the wiring, pickups, tail piece/bridge, strings with stuff I had on hand from previous guitars. Seymour Duncan "59s" pickups, all hand rewired (totally gutted the stock wiring, pots, switch), replaced the 2vol x 1tone with 1v x 1t and a three way pickup switch from an SG, it's all wired up like a Telecaster. I put a stainless steel bolt w/nut in the hole where the 2nd volume control or tone control (or one of them .. everwhat) was that I removed. Removed the stock round chromed output jack plate and installed a sand cast pewter triple skull jack plate in it's stead (3 screws hold that thing in). Completely simplified, completely bitchin. Gibson scale and neck width, maple/rosewood neck, "basswood" body ... very midrangey, a lot like mahogany. But basswood dents very easily, good thing it sounds so great. The bridge and studs are solid brass Gotoh units left over from my SG. I've played-in that neck so well that it's pretty much "plecked" (haahaa!). It's rude, and beastly. And I love it.

All top end mods, IMHO! I need to replace the pots in mine. I might consider some of those same mods too :tu:

not the most exciting or well constructed patch, but i'm having a great time. also learning exactly what i want from modular and what i'm lacking, which i think is a good sign.

that’s my freshly finished setup.
What kind of case do you have there? And how does the integrated keyboard work with it?
i took a minibrute apart and designed a hinged case. the mb sits in the middle and slides down when the case gets closed. the local on/off switch of the mb is off, so the midi is routed via the octatrack to the desired channel. an expert sleepers fh-2 does midi/cv conversion and generates envs, slew, lfos controlled via cc sent by the ot.

it took me ages to find out about setting the mb‘s local switch to off. that really was a „gamechanger“ once i stumbled across cc#122

Final version. I hope I’m done buying and selling for a while ;] my latest and hopefully last addition was the MMF-1S. I was aiming for an analog core machine with digital hybrid duties from the ER301 if I ever need it.

Not pictured is my palette cash with an Erbe Verb.... I’m gonna add a Modcan Dual Delay to it and build a small FX box, but not quite at this moment haha
