I don't have any trouble making pure low sounds that don't contain that "tail" as long as I have all the FM amounts set to zero. To me, it sounds like there could be something going on in your Cab Distortion settings that's making things "fizzle" like that. Try messing with the Comb settings.jdlesemajeste wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 7:26 am ...it seems to be attached to the end of anything low and it's quite present. Are people programming around this noise? I can't filter it out in the software it seems. It essentially prevents me from being able to use this in any tracks because that noise is always present.

No, unfortunately everything can be set at 0 and I will still get this noise. Perhaps mine is defective in some way. Here is a higher quality recording of the sound that accompanies every bass drum sound, even tthe presets: https://soundcloud.com/r-k-v/nano

You (I hope) can hear the weird buzzing ping after the bass drum sound. It can not be filtered out.

Here is another recording I sampled into my Polyend Tracker then uploaded the files. I am sorry that I do not have proper equipment to make a video with line recording that shows the Razz and the settings.

Or is this one of those things where it is a sound that only I can hear? I swear to God on my life all FM parameters are set to 0 and I get the sound with the cab wet/dry set to 100% dry.

Oh I can can for sure hear the sound in your demos; it's definitely weird if that's happening with zero FM or comb filter. I can get a very pure sine tone from my Razz with everything zeroed out. It could be some kind of bug.

Don't feel too bad for yourself; mine has a midi clock detection bug that no one else seems to be able to replicate. I think they're just kinda sketchy little guys, but they do make some great sounds.
Re: 1010music Nanobox Razzmatazz
how about MIDI latency? is there any noticeable time shifting in percussive sounds running against another source?
I´m planning to use a Digitakt to sequence it and fire FM drum stuff but also samples from the Razzmatazz so I need to be sure before buy it.

Latency is not an issue. The timing is very tight with my Polyend Tracker when I'm running drums from both.
