"Those are the days again" is a pretty odd construction. Seems like a nice synth though.

Analog filters, 4-part multitimbral, six outs... I guess it's time to start saving up.

Apparently in stock on Waldorf's site (At least 6 are) but ooof, $2221.00.
It's certainly appealing though--
And still rockin a CF slot 8-)

I haven't been in the market for non-modular hardware in a while, but this is really tempting. Looks awesome with a nice feature set, multiple outs is a huge plus.

That's VAT price I think, much cheaper at Thomann.... I would love to just hit the BIN, but big question for me is how different this would sound to Quantum

Ah derp, you’re right. $1777 is a bit more palatable.

Very nice to have all the spec, and a manual available online at the launch:

Put my name down at Sweetwater. Been looking for some real hybrid mojo which I didn’t get from the prophet x or super 6. Hopefully this will bring it.

Want it! I find this way more appealing than the Quantum and Iridium. It's basically what I liked about the uWave series, and XT series, all in one box. (with the analog filters of the Wave and uWave, though I haven't seen whether they're CEMs like the originals, or something new, or maybe SSI?) This is precisely the Waldorf synth for me.

Clapping like a performing seal over here. The sort of thing I've wanted for ages.

Sounds just like the real real.
Nothing like a modern wavetable synth, not even the Iridium.
I don’t like the look and the size, but the sound and features are just perfect.

It looks pretty nice.

I know I might be driven out as a heretic, but I would have rather had the digital filters of the MWII than the analog ones.

I wish more synths were multitimbral. This thing is just really making me reconsider how much I love the Hydrasynth and a few other kids. :hmm:

SSI apparently. And missing the XT filter, but maybe could come in a firmware update at some point? Fingers crossed

Put my name down with Sweetwater, this should pair nicely with my beaten up XT.

A cut down but more expensive Blofeld with analog filter and slightly better interface.

I'm on board with this too, and agree this sounds better to me than the Quantum and Iridium (sorry to any owners on this thread). I owned an orange Microwave XT desktop a long time ago, and this brings back many nostalgic memories but obviously with modern bits. This is the Waldorf sound that I remember.

Ignorant question from someone who never owned any of the Wave synths but has been looking a lot at different wavetable options lately, how would you compare this (I know, still brand new, no hands on experience) with the Hydrasynth?

Same. Those modes sound so good. thetwlo mentioned on page 2 here that the XT filter code was lost.
