Does it have an audible noise floor or any other noise issues?

Real nice!

Are stem exports still double mono only, or stereo? I've lost track.

Kinda glad I sold mine while the encoder was still working. I hope it works for the new owner forever, it goes without saying.

Hey there everyone. Here is a new video going online in about 3 minutes on my Youtube channe. This one is about how I use single cycle waveforms in the Tracker.
I hope you will learn something. Make sure you tune in to the chatroom if you have any questions.

Due to the lack of multiple outputs and the reported bugginess I am skipping the Polyend Tracker, but I would be interested in a hardware controller with tight integration for Renoise...

Are there any overlays for keyboards with renoise shortcuts etc available? I'm making a dedicated renoise laptop from an old one I am cleaning up and I am rubbish at remembering keystrokes!!

I don't think overlays will work without looking very cluttered.

Probably, this may ease your learning experience, just print and laminate.

Oh, and I'd really like to try Polyend Tracker, it looks fun and unlike M8, shipping is available to Russia.

Buy a keyboard with blank white keycaps, or an MX compatible keyboard and a separate set of blank white keycaps, and make you own Renoise keyboard?

they have time to add all of this but continue to ignore the Seq.

I’d probably say it’s more like a very limited version of Renoise in a very nice box that unfortunately needs a battery pack.

Can M8 not be shipped to Russia? The pre-order was through shopify, so I wonder whether they don't support Russia for some reason. You could email Tim (creator of M8) and ask - he seems like a nice guy, and I know there were some beta versions in the hands of people in Russian.

Jog wheel issues are a nightmare - I've replaced encoder on my blofeld and on my emu e63400. They were fine quality ones, I just think they never seem to work that well long term. I would honestly be wary or any synth that relies so much on a jog wheel these days.

Yes , get a good mechanical keyboard with cherry switches.
It's a must to get the best tracker experience .
I highly recommend ducky one or filco keyboards .
Filco's are expensive but last a lifetime

Well, according to Tim, DHL Express shipping is unavailable to residential addresses in Russia. I've suggested Tim to consider other shipping methods but alas no reply, prolly not worth a hassle.

Too bad, I was so excited to hear M8 singing in hands of amazing musicians, I really-really wanted something portable and umm, self-sufficient and M8 looks like a ticket in that regard.

Poor me, Polyend Tracker should arrive in 3-4 days

Honest question: why do you recommend a mechanical keyboard for trackers? How does this improve the experience?
