Try installing 1.3 again and then reinstalling the new one, that seemed to work for someone else on Github who had problems after the latest update.
Thanks for the suggestion, already tried rolling back to 1.2.0 and 1.3.0. Started a project from scratch too. Nothing, nada, time for a ticket :yay:
so your tracker stop working after the 1.3.1 update?

I decided to delete my earlier posts as they've generally not been sitting right with me despite having mixed feelings about my purchase.. Ultimately I realise that the last year has hit me HARD, both in my personal life and in my work life and had someone done the same as what I did, I'd be pretty devastated..

I'm not trying to excuse anything, but ultimately I kind of went blind to how we're all coping with all that's going on in different ways and I'd hate to be contributing to what might already be a struggle for someone.

The Tracker is a great device though it is buggy, I'm sure if Polyend continue to support it through the years, it'll end up better than what they promised on release so I'll keep it around in hopes of that.

Did the update yesterday after using the tracker on 1.3.0 for a month or so, update seemed to go fine, shut it off afterwards.

Powered it up today... line out, nothing, line in, nothing, midi out, nothing. Midi in seems to work still...:bang:
Erk, it's bricked? Yes, get a ticket in stat. Whether fiddling will help you unbrick it or not, this is probably an important data point for the manufacturer.

Not bricked, screen works, hit play, it seems to run as normal, just no audio out, no midi out, neither of the audio inputs show any signal in the meters.

Good news is Polyend support has already contacted me.

To be fair to Polyend, they've always replied quickly and seem to be pretty good when it comes to direct support/hardware problems. I've got confidence that if something went wrong in that regard they would put it right.

It does sound like they're not leaving him high and dry, which is always good.

Having just opened a paypal case for a missing order (and suspicious silence) of something non-musical from a company normally famous for their service, I'm glad to see a slightly sketchy one stepping up. Balance in all things!

Someone posted in the fb group earlier about being physically shocked when touching the jog wheel. Just fyi, the encoder is mounted on the board and there is no insulation between the board and the metal of the knob, the thread was taken down.

I feel little shocks from mine now and then, I've always assumed it was static rather than a proper shock in that I get the same thing happen with a range of different electronic devices, so it's either pretty normal or I have terrible luck when it comes to electronics. Might be that they're experiencing stronger shocks than what I've felt in that I've never felt it was something note worthy.

Great for those new to tracking. Tough sell for old vets. It's not really a tracker at that point, which is weird for a tracker. Especially for a tracker named Tracker. But it's not like you have to use the horizontal mode. Good business move.

It shouldn’t be shocking you at all.

The horizontal tracking view made me feel dizzy.

But I can see potential new tracker users being more likely to pick it up if it has that option, as it’s possibly less intimidating of a leap from what they already know.

If i was getting shocks from a piece of equipment i'd send it back. Especially if it was from the main input control. That's a safety concern and should not be happening on a device like the tracker. At least it hasn't got mains voltages in there. Still shouldn't happen if it was designed properly.
