I haven't used the CV out yet. I'll check it out when I get a chance and report back.shaft9000 wrote:my apologies if this has been asked already - does the CV output sum vibrato and pitchbend like my ARP Solus does?
That is the one thing that keeps me from buying most any other CV keyboard; if the '14 does this I will be even more tempted.

Resurrecting this thread just for a brief comment: Pulled the trigger on both a Minimoog D reissue and a Subsequent 37, and have been doing A-B-C comparisons against the Vermona 14. Three fantastic mono’s, in my opinion, bested only by the Mighty Cwejman S1Mkll. I had a specific focus on the filter overdrive, with its consequent growl, and what a high Q did to the low end. What I can tell is that, to my ears, comparing the Vermona and Sub, both with max volume dialed on the mixers and with Q about 70%, but NO overdrive added to the Sub, the Vermin growls richer, with a juicier distortion. Of course, add overdrive to the Sub, then it’s a different story. As for the D, it holds up pretty damn well against the two young ‘uns, except the distortion is not as strident; it’s warmer and the EG has a smoother slope than the other 2. Now, crank up the external in volume knob (it’s hardwired to mix in the main output) and then shit gets weird and loud in a pinch. Three jewels, very different....and yet so similar. Absolute keepers....

They are very much alive and well. They just did another run of the S1 and have a new, smaller version along with the usual eurorack offerings.zaphod betamax wrote:Are Cwejwin still a going concern?
Logged onto their site and the NEWS has not been updated since 2012.

Where is my Vermona 14!
Hey! I am gonna need your help.
How would one sequence the Vermona 14 by the Qu-Bit Bloom, Vermona Melodicer or Make Noise 0-Ctrl?
What would be the minimal setup to achieve this (inside a 4ms Pod)?
What do you use to sequence it?

Re:
I ponied up the then $3000CAN for a '14
and I think Vermona hit the ball out of the park with this one.
Between the Vermona 14 and my 2 Dreadbox Abyss +a perFOURmer, I think I have all my 70s vibe covered!
Very happy with the '14 and the cost has long since been amortized over time.

Mike37 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2016 2:15 pmAt at the end of the day, I'd much rather have a synth that's lean on features but rich in sound quality. Listen to modular and boutique products from MosLab, AJH, MacBeth etc. Why can't modern day all-in-one (with keyboard, memory) analog synths sound like that? Voyager, Sub 37, Pro 2, Prophet 6 etc. - none sound as good as their 70s counterparts. If Vermona 14 can accomplish that elusive 70s quality, IF, then I'm fine with the price vs. features.audiosignal wrote:$2700 and only low pass, no memory and 1 lfo. Guess this one is not for me.

Hi there!
I managed to buy #210 just 2 weeks ago.
I love it and am very happy with it being my only synth.
Got a Maschine+ next to it and will add RYK M185 sequencer as it does output Midi notes and accepts Midi clock as far as i know (right?).
Now that I need a small case anyway I was thinking of adding a sound source for the External Audio In as well.
What would you suggest? Should I add a full voice module or an oscillator only? Or Strega?

Re: Where is my Vermona 14!
i think you should take one of the outputs and feed it right back into the external input!

Yes the M185 accepts MIDI Clock, Reset, Start, & Stop commands.

Re: Where is my Vermona 14!
I am fairly confident all 222 of the '14 are sold.
I went on the net and pretended I wanted one and went to at least 12 webpages.
Either "Out of Stock" or "No longer available"
I have had mine for over 4 years, and it is one of my leading monos.
Can not describe what it sounds like. It is a feeling realy!

Re: Where is my Vermona 14!
I actually emailed Vermona the other day to see if they were sold out or not. The response I received was that they were out for now, but a few units might become available in a few months. I asked them to put me on an email list if they had one, and they said they would.

Re: Where is my Vermona 14!
One reason I did not get two instead of one is that I asked Thomas if you could change the
note priority which is fixed to last.
He wondered why I would ask for this.
I said if you could change one to high note and the other low, you would make
an amazing duophonic synth.

Korg MS-20Kit is controller for Behringer K-2.
Ms-20Kit has identical patch to K-2 but VC01 is tuned up an octave.
Each are panned to opposite channels in stereo. These sound first.
Followed by Vermona '14, panned center (mono)
