I don't think it is a module when you check the picture, it seems to have a keyboard
Super12? :despair:
you are right, I was seeing it the wrong way
Now I really hope it has a sample playback engine insideeee!

Hmm, I must be looking at it wrong, I don't see a keyboard. But if I try really hard maybe it looks like a keytar lol.

Lol
Well it striked me immediately that it is a keyboard. Same when I look at an apricot I see…. Hem you get it xD
George re-used the same chassis I assume, which could make sense.
My guess is that it is just a super12, simply. I can already announce the price of 4000-4500€ because there is a scale economy and same chassis xD
OR
It is a super1 mono synth with 2 or 3 octaves keyboard.
OR
I should shut up and wait for the announcement :)

I wish it was a desktop version.

does anybody else get hung notes? it seems like it mostly happens when i playback MIDI into the S6 from Live. but i've been getting sometimes where notes will hang and play forever. i have to select a different patch, then come back to the patch i was on. then the first note or two i play on the keys won't sound, then it will play normal until it hangs again.

also, with the Binaural on, it seems to do note stealing... oddly. i was having where i could play a chord, hold it, then go through more notes and occasionally a note wouldn't play at all.

I’m glad I didn’t jump on the keyboard version as this module looks very good and the keyboard is useless for me :)
Wonder what the price will be…

Wait… doesn’t seem to be blue but white? Deal breaker xD

well shit. i would rather have had the desktop module too. loving the S6, might grab that then sell my keyboard when it's available. the keyboard on the S6 is nice, but i like a modular approach and did enjoy the Nektar i was using before more.

curious what colors will be available!

Perversely, this just makes me lust after the keyboard all the more. But all gear buying is on hold while I redo the apartment. Maybe in a year or so.

A little unclear in the video... he said the original super 6 is getting more envelope stages, but is it also getting a continually variable high pass filter in the next firmware update as well?!

2249€ That is a lot of money for this kind of thing. But I guess I don't like the sounds enough to think otherwise.

Yeah it's not much below the keyboard version.
A decent comparison could be done with the Waldorf M actually (1900€) so it probably fits the bill of charge but we're in the high range price.

I like what I hear from Waldorf M but again, not nearly for 1900€...It is for me a lot of cash. Could had added a multimode VCF.
Even though I use both digital and analog, I tend to prefer analog, but I would either raise some more and go for the Iridium, or get a Hydrasynth that costs, like...half the cash, or a Novation Peak.

Anyhow, still early days, maybe I hear something that will change my mind with regards to the Waldorf M.

But to get back on the subject, I've heard lots of UDO 6 videos. The stereo effect is cool. That's it.

I find the UDO and Waldorf synths very seductive, the UDO synths look amazing, but I agree and you are right about the Peak. I don’t run out of sounds with a Peak and a Rev 2.
