First complete setup!

Post by Everett Caro » Mon Nov 22, 2021 7:39 pm

After about a year of reading manuals and wikipedia articles on synthesis techniques, I've finally completed my first setup. A simple DotCom system, some modified cassette players, test equipment, audiophile preamp I got for free from a friend, a volca, and a 505 to get those cheesy drum fills. Here are some pics and a little track I made on the spot.

Awesome! You will soon find it taking over the entire room. :hihi: How do you like those right-angle patch cords? I've looked at them and I'm not sure what I think of them.

Ooo ... I dunno 'bout going that far out on that limb! ... You sure you wanna stick your neck out that far? .... ;) ... y'know, predicting that a new 5U user will allow the system to grow like a weed? Pfft ... that's just too far out there man .... even for me!

Risky prediction! ... very courageous of you! .......... ~ahem~ .....

this is sarcastic irony ... (ironic sarcasm? ... oh wait, I know! ... it's just me being a jackass! HAAHAA!)

Wow. Nice "start"! A fine choice of gear in concert on that track.

Great start! I look forward to seeing what's going to fill the rest of your case.

I've been looking at some of the Roland MC units, do you have any recommendations? :hail:

It's already started to invade since taking these pictures :goo: I do, it saves some space on the front, and they're pretty cheap compared to other patch cables on the market.
