…actually - out of my personal experience - i‘d say: it depends…

…for example it depends on what is available on the market at the moment - if you buy 100.000 pots and want to get a reasonable price and quality there are always a few competing manufacturers and you buy one time from one and the next time from the other…

Sure. and *both* times you ask for 'alpha' labeling if that's your 'store' brand. As appears to be the case with Tayda.

maybe a bit off-topic, but here is my first experience with additional costs if you order with Tayda and you are based in Germany using DHL EXPRESS:

Order @ TAYDA: 102 € (incl. shipping costs!!)
VAT to pay: 18,45 €

and now for the crazy part with DHL EXPRESS:

Duty Tax Receiver Service: 14,88 €
Additional 8 Positions: 17,85€ . Meaning for every single part type DHL Express charges you! The more different part types, the more expensive it gets.

Which sums up to an additional 51 € I had to pay today to receive the goods!
So thats roughly 90€ for parts and 60€ on top :foul:

I must say I wasn't aware of that (except for VAT of course) - lesson learnt.

Thats insane and the very reason i am wary of using DHL, FEDEX etc. Charges for collecting taxes on behalf of the government seem to be a big part of the business for these companies. They may make more profit on tax collection than delivering the parcel around the world? Was Thai Post EMS not an option? Thailand to UK takes about 10 days but Thai Post and Royal Mail dont go overboard on admin/handling fees for collecting the VAT. Actually many times i wont buy a piece of gear if there is not a national post option. In my experience there is chance that you may not pay any tax when using the national post. For whatever reason they are too busy, cant be arsed, some on my parcels sail through with no tax to pay.
