I think there’s a pretty big difference between boycotting Behringer and Andrew Huang but maybe I’m not reading enough into it. As far as vain, self involved youtubers go Andrew Huang seems pretty benign to me. He can be a little annoying and annoyingly Canadian but other than that he seems like a pretty standup dude.

CV over levels? Huh. Is it DC coupled? I would think so, which would perhaps make Mega-Tang kind of more like a quad VCA only geared towards mixing, which is a pretty cool/convenient setup.

Last year there was an Italian company showing a new 4 part multi FX in a Moog dfam\mother style case? ( think it was called the godfather). It looked incredible!
Any further news on that this year?

Enjoy Electronics was the company, I remember reading posts from that last year but have not heard anything since. Checked their website and looks like it is available for pre-order.

CV over levels? Huh. Is it DC coupled? I would think so, which would perhaps make Mega-Tang kind of more like a quad VCA only geared towards mixing, which is a pretty cool/convenient setup.

None of the videos ever mentions these other 2 new modules so I have no idea about specific features. Everyone just focused on the ASQ-1. But the ALM guy definitely used the Mega Tang in the Cuckoo video so it does work.

Very similar features to most of the euro audio mixer modules. This just seems more compact and the ‘extras’ (headphone out, extra CV) left off if the user doesn’t need them. ALM has a tiny headphone module already and as mentioned it looks like there’s a CV expander on the left of it as an optional module.

I’m more than happy with my Intellijel Dubmix system and couldn’t live with the 3 aux send/returns, but this may be useful for the separate Tiptop Buchla case I’ll eventually be building. That is unless Tiptop also makes a version of the Buchla 207 Mixer or 227 System Interface.

Hell yeah, it does sound stunning indeed ! —and yet still in a pre-production prototype state (e.g. « A lot more wavetables will be added… »)
Utterly promising, here definitely interested, and I'd risk an easy guess that it should be a hit when released (« Before the end of the year, below €300 ttc »)

(… will try to post some rough translation with more facts of what Eric's explaining about his filter later today when I have some more time, looks and sounds like a fascinating piece of sonic gear, that I'd be eager to add to my arsenal —please some more demos and with a proper sound !)

Built in wavetable modulation that’s automatically synced to the input oscillator? Maybe similar to how Neoni automatically syncs to the modulating oscillator?

He says :
- the filter have multiple resonances points
- have tables of multiple filters configurations, you can scan by CV between them.
- simple multimode filter + granular filter + mix mode.
- some functionalities based on input signal frequencies : division of frequency and detune.
- end of year, under 300€ with taxes.

I just looked over 16 pages of comments, interested only in new offerings. Lots of great stuff this year, I'm looking forward to the new 4ms, Xaoc, Klavis, and Joran. Unfortunately the comments about a YouTube personality more than occupied a majority of posts. Why you guys create a separate thread to bitch about those sorts of things and let us old guys read about new gear.

yes, i was told it is basically a beefed up version of the Tangle Quartet (hence the name, probably). But will be a while until it is available.
