Here are some old audio demo clips we posted on this thread a few months ago.

All recorded dry straight from the module, using only internal LFO and ENV modulations.
CV and Gate from M185, last clip played direct from MIDI keyboard, no other modules of FX used

Hopefully we will get some time to make some videos soon . . .

Something that shows more about how the menus work/navigation and the workflow of designing sounds would be great.
I’m assuming loopop has one he will be doing a long form tutorial vid. Looking forward to that if so!

Yes!

In case I miss it: hopefully it’ll be watchable later, too.

Also, I’m curious about the parameter ranges – is there steppiness? Does it sometimes/ever feel like you’d want what’s ’between’ two values?

Hi

I cant answer for Mr Patroler etc but . . .

Most of the paramters have way more steps than the display indicates, such as the Envelopes which have approx 15 x steps per screen pixel.
The Q Performance controls have mostly 2 or 3 x steps per digit on the display [ display is 0-99, increments mostly 0-255 ]
The Oscillator Levels controls have 32 steps per screen pixel.

Mostly it is best to use your ears to decided on the parameter level, as most of the controls have finer tuning than the display can actual show

Thanks, appreciate the responses. And to be clear, I think it’s fantastic and I have preordered 👌 One of the most interesting recent oscillator designs

Finally, a digital oscillator with no dedicated pitch knob:)

I always use my ears to determine a parameter, the screen is mostly beautiful to look at, and so far I never felt like I needed higher fidelity on anything. Also worth noting is that the encoders are clickless, which makes it a joy to program in that regard.

Regarding the streaming, I'm unsure if IG retains the streams, we will have to see. I've never tried having a microphone on at the same time either, so it'll be an experiment, but I'm sure some of you would be curious to watch me test things and probably answer some questions (I'll see if I can log in from the computer at the same time to watch comments). Disclaimer: it will be a beta unit so we might run into a bug or two (hopefully).

Not an oscillator is it? I wouldn't expect a dedicated pitch knob on a synth, so I never expected one here either. There is global tuning though if you need it!

Not sure if I've missed in the manual but can you feedback any of the operators?

This sounds AMAZING. I hear a lot resembling my Prophet VS, and more... Im really excited about this one! First oscillator in quite a while for me....

hi
currently there is no option for feedback, maybe in the future . . .

you can use WP [ Wave Warp ] to distort the waveform of the oscilators in a similar way to feedback,
although not quite the same

Had my eye on this for a while. Just read the manual and pre-ordered with the expander from Signal Sounds. Looking forward to diving down the rabbit hole!

Wow what a fabulous demo! I wonder if the Defender game is an Easter egg?

This thing sounds mental in a very nice way.

This sounds A LOT like my Prophet VS. I know I keep saying it, its just amazingly perplexing to me.... Im slightly concerned about a possible redundancy in my setup.... but with the module version I can pair it up with more filter & VCA options....🤔.... dammit Eurorack, just when I thought I had what I wanted all set up n ready to go 😂

Aw hell, that last demo sold me, just put in a preorder with RYK direct for the module and expander. Hope I'm in the batch that says shipping in the coming week!

I've been dragging on selling my E370 guess I better get to it.

The manual talks about sine, triangle and square as possible base waveforms. Is it possible to create saw waves, or something close to them?

I was thinking of the possibilities of massive super-saws with 16 slightly detuned oscillators -I'm not sure if something like that is possible with this module.
