Hexinverter/Erica Synths Mutant Brain --- Nice interface for MIDI sequencing via Digitakt or similar (4 CVs / 12 gates), programmable but with very sensible factory defaults

Doepfer A-160-2 clock divider --- Core system component, finally picked one up

Toppobrillo Sport Modulator 2 --- Dual-channel lag and hold module with built-in comparator circuit, inspired by the Serge SSG. Can be a sample and hold, track and hold, a pair of oscillators, much more. Patch programmable for days, already loving this one

I just ordered a Xbox NIN expander. I really miss the possibility to trigger envelopes manually to try them out, and a second CV controllable parameter. Then I also ordered a Doepfer multicore, which comes in pairs, so total is three.

Despite not signing on to the "no buy 2023", I’m very much on a buying hiatus, focusing on music. On my shortlist are a 4MS ensemble, a Haible Tau and a Frequency Central Stasis Leak but I'm in no hurry to get them. Oh, and a matrix mixer with plenty inputs and the possibility to save a config as a preset would be nice.

These are somewhat out of order, but recent:

Bastl Aikido
This is actually my second Aikido, connected in series to my first one. I was a big fan of the Quattro Figaro, so this was such a nice upgrade. The sliders have such short throw before reaching unity gain which took a little to get used to, but such a nice mixer VCA.

Bastl Skis
I already have a Skis 2, and I was intrigued by the different (noisier) feature set of the first iteration. Plus, I love the look of Bastl blue modules. Both are really great, but S2 is definitely quieter/politer than S1. The crunch and lo-fi is pretty subtle, but it does add sone nice character to the sound.

Monome Crow
This is my second time owning this module, and while I generally don't like connecting my computer to my modular, it was a handy 2hp programmable utility, so I figured I'd give it a go once more. My old crow had a remarkably beautiful brushed anodized black finish, while this one is a more utilitarian (and boring) matte black powder coat. Otherwise, it's back to the grind getting used to programming Lua weirdness.

Still waiting patiently for it to arrive  I know there's an ultra kick, but how does the perc do in the lower frequency range?

It does great. You could easily use it as a kick drum. In fact you get kicks out of it that you’d be hard pressed to get out of the ultra kick. Not so much better, just different
