Last Three Modules Purchased
Just for fun and to see what's trending in Euro. My last three purchases...
2HP Loop - because it finally came out. Finally. Works as advertised as far as I can tell. Really useful. May very well buy the second one.
Sketchy Labs Freak Shift - because Conrad Schnitzler used a Freq Shift, and Tim Blake and JMJ and...
TipTop Echoz - I have three Malekko IN/OUT modules with all sorts of pedals incorporated, but really loved the sound of this one. Good deal retail. Arrives tomorrow.
They should have an impact on the the sound and structure of my patches.
Those are the last three.
What are yours?

Re: Last Three Modules Purchased
Metropolix - I'd been interested in Metropolis since I first started getting into Eurorack and researching modules. A few weeks before the new version was announced I was actually starting to try to figure out how to get one but luckily didn't pull the trigger. The new one has far exceeded the expectations I had for the OG.
Odessa (plus Hel) - Another one I'd been interested in a for a while but waited (and for a while was not able) to cop. Extremely pleased. Huge range of sounds. Very fun to interact with, very hands on.
Stages - My third. So useful, and my preferred ADSR setup. I could see having four, and I'm adverse to buying multiples of anything.

Re: Last Three Modules Purchased
My latest purchases
Pressure Points
Basically the newest addition and the last module needed to fill my 6U case. I never really planned on getting one but I decided last second and I’m stoked on it. It also filled the remaining 20hp in my case
ModCan Dual Delay
Needed a good delay and I’ve always wanted one of these so I jumped on the opportunity when I could
ER-101 & ER-102 expander
Sold my old ER-101 to fund upgrading to the one with an expander
Pretty happy with these so far! Officially filled my case, probably won’t make any changes for a while

Re: Last Three Modules Purchased
Ieaskul F. Mobenthey Denum - It came up on the used market and I jumped on it. I have Sprott as well, and I like it a lot, but I sold Dunst a while back after finding it didn't add much to my existing rack. (I've got 2 x URA for that kind of noise...) So far I'm super impressed with Denum, and I think it's definitly a keeper. The weird hybrid FM/AM modulation sounds like nothing else. I kind of want a second one now...
Intellijel Shifty - So apperently Shifty is still in stock an Analog Haven even though it's sold out literally everywhere else. I have no idea how Shawn does it... But anyway, Shifty's not a utility I ever thought I'd need until I realized how rare it is to find a module with a latch in Eurorack. Now polyphonic harmony is a bit easy, and I'm very happy to get all that functionality in only 6hp.
Happy Nerding FX AID XL - This is my second time trying FX AID. I had the smaller one before and ended up just using VSTs a lot anyway, so I sold it. But it just does so much is a small space. Now I'm trying the 6hp version, and I'm a LOT happier with the extra space around the knobs and the voltage control. The biggest drawback is the very limited options for "stereo in + stereo out". So I'll still probably end up using VSTs for reverb (my rack is highly focused on stereo processing). But I think FX AID XL will still be find a lot of use as a delay, pitch shifter, and compressor in my rack.

Re: Last Three Modules Purchased
All three just arrived today!!! Finally put them in the rack only about 20 minutes ago . . .
1. Tiptop ZVERB.
2. Tiptop ECHOZ.
3. Noise Engineering Ruina Versio.
The Ruina Versio was a pre-order—didn't even know it was coming! I'm one lucky sonofabitch! Rock, on!

I was going to put all three modules in the far-right 12U rack, but I decided to put them in the hero spot (right next to the Stereo Dipole) in the Intellijel 7U case. I actually moved quite a lot of stuff around in the last hour or so. Finally put the Javelin much closer to the stuff it's Javelin-ing.

Yeah! I've been playing with mine for all of about half an hour now. I like it! Does what I thought it would do!MindMachine wrote: ↑Fri Apr 09, 2021 10:58 pmTipTop Echoz - I have three Malekko IN/OUT modules with all sorts of pedals incorporated, but really loved the sound of this one . . .
Nice! I only have two Stages.everythingcontinues wrote: ↑Fri Apr 09, 2021 11:27 pm Stages - My third. So useful, and my preferred ADSR setup. I could see having four, and I'm adverse to buying multiples of anything.
Congrats! You know, I read nothing but rave reviews about this thing here, but I can never find one in stock (so I went with the two Tiptop modules).
Yeah! Fold 6 FTW, Lisa!

Re: Last Three Modules Purchased
I did order a full 84 HP of stuff last week and I know I said I had no more room, but you can always go upwards...
Three choices out of it are:
WMD Arpitecht / Triad (I hope extenders don’t count as modules)
Joranalogue Generate 3 Eurorack Through-Zero Oscillator Module
Joranalogue Filter 8 Eurorack VCF Module
There was some other Joranalogue modules and another MI piece of the puzzle lol.

- Had to get one! It’s great. Still on the lookout for additional percussive modules though...
Intellijel Shifty
- Seemed very interesting for generative stuff. Really fun little module. Currently back in its home town in Canada for some rehab though...
2hp TM
- Super useful for my simple generative patches

Re: Last Three Modules Purchased
Last one was Haible Phaser, extra good 20 stage phaser, I seem to collect RS modules
Second Lyra FX wanted to try that dual PT delay, it seems interesting but time will tell. It sounds good but there is a lack of features, I might not use it as a delay
Then Tallinn VCA high quality vca in 4hp, cannot be wrong with Xaoc

My last three were
Mutable Instruments Beads - not much to say here you know the drill
Mannequins Just Friends - Hands down already my most used module both as a polyphonic voice, for the lfos, envelopes and all the goodness that comes from it
Monome Teletype - Amazingly deep module, so much yet to explore, paired with both monome ansible & Just Friends over i2c it’s been my main sequencer for driving Just Friends as 6 voices

ES Disting Ex - for the multi-sample player and the granular, which is just excellent. Might get a second.
Radikal Technologies RT-1701 - great sounding multi-fx module. Pristine sounds, but a bit of an odd interface.
Synth Tech e520 - haven't gotten it yet, but it sounds lovely, has a lot of effects you simply won't find elsewhere in euro of the same quality.

1. Doboz TSNM mkII as a secondary (more performance oriented) sequencer to my Hermod.
2. Two LPZW WK1 Aroom config precision adders to offset multiple Hermod tracks with one transpose track (often used with Acid Rain Technologies Chainsaw)
3. Erica Synths Pico VCA2. Wanted to have a VCA for stereo duties (CV1 is normalized to CV2, so I only have to input one cable for the envelope)

Re: Last Three Modules Purchased
1. Piston Honda Mk III - I bought this to swap out for a E352 Cloud Terrarium, which is cool but feels like overkill in my system given the HP cost. Now I'm tempted to keep both though
2. Rossum Evolution - I've wanted one for a while but have been waiting for one to come along at the right price on the used market.
3. 3x Mia - Finally got one yesterday after they finally restocked in the UK. I was short on utilities and this fixes a large part of the problem. I might get the HN mixer too soon.

My last three purchases:
ADDAC103 T-Networks (DIY) - Love it but wish I had known about the VC ADDAC104 that came out soon after.
ADDAC215 Dual S&H+ (DIY)
Tip Top ZVERB
I've purchased other DIY stuff since these but I don't count'em since they're not built yet.

If you don't count the three Doepfer multiples I bought, partly because you can never have too many multiples, and partly to fill some 2hp gaps:
Acid Rain Maestro
Benjolin
Qu-bit Surface
And the next, and definitely last for a while?

Ripples to filter Plaits, Javelin as an ADSR+VCA to complete the voice, and 2HP Avert because I wanted to use the attenuverters in Maths for other purposes. And with those, my synth is finished.
Good deals with: Eremitalf, ben_hex, matttech, Elevator Sound, Hyberus.

I feel as though I’ve been putting them all to good use. As well, these three modules really like each other.
