It's Qu-bit's fault!!

Let's say the Scanned, Cascade and Prism were the last ones to arrive. (They gave me the Surface and Nano Rand, so they don't count, right? :yay: )

Sadly, WMD decide to close up, so I needed to get some percussion. :despair:

Well, after having not bought anything for a while (to figure out what I really needed), I've just preordered two modules:
- Morphagene
- Natural Gate

I'm now prepared to patiently wait until they arrive (lord knows when :) )

Sold my Elektron Maschinedrum. Went a little crazy with Eurorack purchases.

Bard Quartet + expander. Been wanting a dedicated quantizer that is an upgrade from my Doepfer. The expander gives me four individual channels which was my main requirement.

Poly Effects Hector. This thing is a lot of fun, but it pushed me to get a new printer, 3 ring binder, hole punch, etc... But, I now have a printed manual. :)

Intellijel Rainmaker. Wow, been on the Sweetwater notify list for over a year with no luck. Refuse to pay the Reverb chip shortage price for used units. Was on the Sweetwater site looking at other reverb and delay units and decided to look up Rainmaker, just in case. DUDE!!! They have their demo up for sale! I grabbed it immediately.
Sometimes I feel like the Red Green of modulars.

I kinda went nuts. But I did sell off a few things too!

René 2- I had the OG a long time ago, liked it but moved in a different direction sequencing-wise. I’d been wanting the new one for a while, and they just got restocked, had to have it.

Odessa (+ Hel but I’m not counting that as one of the 3). Got a good deal as a trade. I really like the sound of the demos, and thought it would be cool to further expand my sound palate.

Sofia- wasn’t even on my radar, but I happened to see the thread on it here. Which led me to Monotrail’s demo, which sealed the deal- he makes some great sounds with it.
Lotsa modules for sale/trade- check it out!

Akemie's Taiko - I love the idea of the BIA but its always been too harsh sounding for my tastes.. this is a little more beep and bloop.. but i like the more subtle clicks and clacks that you can get out of it.

Sound Force Dual LFO - My first syncable LFOs.. super fun.. really quick and easy.. super cheap.. kinda big..

Vice Verga - a really nice sequential switch.. its great how you can break out so many different types of switch combinations and layouts.. i dont know why anybody looking for a switch would not choose this one.

Finally, on order is the natural gate. Whenever that comes it’ll be the end of purchases for awhile. Next round is a lot more fx, alm fx, more versio, nautilus…. Super over the moon with my rack direction and have so much to explore and some wicked music I’m sure coming up.

You can load Omnisphere patches onto the Disting EX? Or you mean...you load samples of pads you made with Omnisphere?

yes samples per note per velocity, multisampled. no I'm not tweaking the omnisphere patch knobs :)

4MS Tapographic Delay - It’s not the prettiest delay I’ve used, but it’s a pretty ingenious little module I’ve been having plenty of fun with.

Joranalogue Generate 3 - Wonderful oscillator that’s exceeded my expectations based on sort of mixed reviews around here. I don’t understand the naysaying, it’s sonically versatile and sounds great, and is a useful modulator as well. Getting the nicest kicks I’ve gotten out of any module since the e440.

2HP MIDI - waiting on an adapter to try it with my Korg Microkey
