Well, Ladies and Gents, here is my first completed Dotcom-format Freak Shift. I'm super happy with how it turned out. I anticipate quite a few people wanting one of these bad boys, so I guess I'll have to order some more blanks from Arrick Robotics. This one is one of a pair (I'll build its mate this weekend) going to Scotland. I just couldn't be happier with how this turned out -- a good plan, well executed, if I don't say so myself. This thing is solid as a brick. Notice how the Translator board (the one between the circuit board stack and the panel board) is also the jack board. This was an inspired design decision that worked out better than I had any right to expect. The key is to use the correct spacers (12 mm is the sweet length).

Sure is sweet! Well done Doc! I was on the fence about Euro and Dot.com when I first started into modular and decided on Euro. Seeing this makes me wonder a little if I made the right choice.... Of course this is the same as what I have but it just looks so.... Wiggle worthy!

Do both the Euro and the 5U format versions come with both power headers, and do they both work on 12/15v...?

They have different power headers, but they work on either voltage. The Dotcom format has the (really awful) 6-pin (with one pin removed) Dotcom power header, and the Euro format has the standard 10-pin power header.

Suuuuper stoked to get in line for my Freak Shift. First taste of a frequency shifter was the CWO effect in the OP-1 and I fell in love. Can’t wait to have an analog version with modular feedback patching.
