Nice, hadn't even thought about printing one. Currently using a standard orange Pomona screwed into the side of the desk, but I'd like to upgrade to a Hex-01 someday when a larger studio is in the cards.

Highly exciting. Cheers all! I may see if I can repurpose my chair rack for the kitchen synth 🤔

I have just ordered a second hex for a second rack, plus a mike stand. Total cost, £67.

Then I thought, really, I could do with yet another rack. (Two euro systems in different rooms, then there’s the bananas).

Old cable rack lying around, scaffolding post chunks used to prop a rack so it could be used above a matriarch, and a garden limbo set that was destined for the bin after splitting midway. Total cost, £0!

I use the Hex-01. Love it. Control Modular now makes a square shaped similar hanger. Have one of those too but haven't used it yet. Still looking for a Mic stand for it that is sturdy, tall, locks into full height without collapsing, and most importantly...Cheap.

I can see that having cables sorted and ready to pull would be a massive time saver when patching. Granted, for sure. But where I always fall down when envisioning these is the "having to sort/re-hang" bit, every time you pull a patch. Surely the time savings gained in use are lost in setting up for re-use? Or do you still find it to be a net gain?
Yes as a time saver for longer cables. Just have to eyeball by dangling length now, soon colors will make it even faster. I just wish I had thought the color thing through when I started. Of course back then I didn’t realize I would routinely have use for 3 and 4 foot cables!

At the end of the day I grimaced at the price when I bought it but I needed a free standing solution. This and $25 for a heavy base mic stand and I am just thankful to have it-no regrets!
I’m just getting in to modular. I ve been watching videos like crazy, and one of the first suggested color coding cables by length and explained exactly why. Easier management. Need a 12” cable? Grab a Green one without hesitation. Then putting away is as simple as grouping by color.

Two Ikea towel holders. Total cost, 4 dollars. Bottom one is usually full of longer ones but they are in a patch. Don’t overthink.
Gum is fun, but not on a cat.

My minds an art gallery.
