He OS, i know you have been getting this question a lot from a lot of people in a lot of areas, but any ETA for when the ES9 will ship to Japan? I know i said "a lot " a lot but i think that just shows how much your work is appreciated and needed. I am just that excited to get that much CV in and out of my computer.

There should be some going to Japan later this week or early next.

Got my ES-9 in last week, and it's fantastic! Being able to play my modular with a Push is bonkers; being able to spin up LFOs, envelope followers, etc in CV Tools and just have them magically appear in my modular rig is a gamechanger. The set up is pretty great out of the box, but I really appreciate the routing utility program. I was originally like "I'm never going to use that" but within a week i'm already using it.

Also, wow does the ES-9 make me realize how much I hate ASIO. I realize they're in an impossible position since Windows fundamentally doesn't want to do what ASIO makes it do, but *argh* is getting everything consistently working a nightmare. What's so odd is it seems somewhat random; last night it was all working great: ES-9 doing CV and audio in & out to/from Ableton and the modular rig, and the final master audio from Ableton going into a different USB audio device (a NAD D3020) to send to my speakers. No real noticable latency, everything working as it should. This morning? ES-9 side is working fine, but for some reason I absolutely cannot send audio to the NAD. Why? Who knows. ASIO has also given me two actual BSODs, which I didn't even know was a *thing* anymore (not a "something's gone wrong" message, an actual white-text-on-blue-screen old-school crash). I'm probably going to give up soon and just route the L/R on the Es-9 into the inputs on the NAD directly.

Anyone (maybe an inside source) know when the next batch of ES-9 units will be headed to US distributors? Looking forward to getting my hands on one.

I just put my order in with PC at the end of Feb. Using your experience as a guide, I should expect mine to arrive in June. :despair:

Anyone that is on the fence about this IO interface don't be, just buy it. Also any ETA on ES5 mk3's coming to japan, because i might have to buy 3 of those now :bang:

ES-5s are due to leave the factory any day now.

Just checking you know you can't connect 3 E-5s to an ES-9. Maybe you want an ES-5 and two ESX-8GTs.

Oh really? so the max amount of ES5's you can connect is 1? I just want to have the ability of having 16 cv channel outs and 8 gate channel outs. I maybe a little confused on the best way to achieve that.

An ES-5 and an ESX-8CV attached to an ES-9 will do that.

Is anyone on Windows using the ES-9 with an AMD/Radeon graphics card? I have some issues with mine, with a 5700XT.

Strange...
I do not have both, but I would try:

- If you have a x570 motherboard, in the BIOS set PCIe to GEN 3, not AUTO or GEN 4
- Make sure to use the latest GPU driver version 20.2.2 release Date 3/5/2020
- Use DDU to remove the current driver and allow it to reboot in SAFE mode to do the cleaning
- With Autoruns try to disable

If all fails, disable the Services>AMD External Events Utility
But FreeSync will not work...

OMG I tested the whole day and it never crashed!!! I can't believe it! I was trying to find the cause for 2 weeks now! I played all day today and it was rock stable.
I really can't thank you enough, so glad to be a part of this community.
Gotta report this back to os now, it's really a strange incompatibility. Indeed I am using a x570 mobo with a 3700X.

I can live with using pcie3, framerates don't suffer much (1/2%)

Thanks again, this made me soo happy!

Taking the opportunity to post some data about noise in my unit. I am very happy with noise levels.

Thanks for reporting back, I'm glad it ended well. :chug:

Until the drivers are more mature, the default recommendation for x570 users is to set the PCIe to GEN 3.

Wondering how this module works when not using USB to the computer... Could I say, use all 14 inputs and that runs directly to the headphone out? Just for listening / playback when on the go?

Or would I need a seperate headphone out / mixer module?
