Could someone clarify for me how the manual level controls (i.e. L1-4) and CV attenuators interact... maybe it's obvious from the Doepfer website and I'm just being dense:

With an audio signal patched in to channel 1, L1 knob control level from 0 to unity gain - this I get?
With an ADSR envelope in to first CV input the CV1 control determines the gain reached at the end/peak of attack stage? In this situation does the L1 knob position have any effect? Does it act as an offset/bias/minimum gain level?

Cheers!

It is indeed a bias/offset/ I've only used mine with audio signals, but any CV will add to the gain setting on the corresponding channels knob

Anyone have crosstalk issues with this module? With a simple setup of an oscillator into one channel and noise into another I hear the noise bleeding through. Is this normal behavior?

I recall vaguely that the way things are normalled and passed down the chain can catch you off guard. Are both the outs and ins patched for each of those two channels? I’ll test mine in this scenario when I patch tomorrow.

Yeah, each channel is using the dedicated in and out. I tried it with a few different combinations and I could always hear some pretty noticeable bleed.

I don't recall noticing this issue with mine; perhaps best to send a message to hardware@doepfer.de about it.
Is that a real poncho or is that a Sears poncho?

Be sure not to waste any time understanding or directly countering your opponents' opinion. Misunderstand his point of view and blur it with other arguments as quickly as possible.
Reminds me of Schopenhauer's The Art of Being Right.
