App store should automatically confirm compatibility with your device and OS when you try to download an app, will no longer allow purchases if incompatible.

We need to scrape together a Modes entry for the Disting EX. In addition to the new modes, I think a gather that a bunch of the mk4 modes have been weeded out as not relevant or redundant.

If you know basic HTML, you can make cheat sheets. All the cheat sheets are open source and available here:

Hello!

I just released 2.4 to the App Store so the update should be available over the next 24 hours.

Added Mutable Instruments Stages, Ornament and Crime Hemisphere Suite, Moog Mother32, Intellijel Shapeshifter (including wavetables, with permission!).
Updated disting to 4.17.
Added dark mode support

Let me know if there's any bugs!

Side note: I spent Jan-March preparing for a live show, and my plan was after that show, to do a Modes release and then a Spectrum release and then back to making music. I *just* finished that first step. Having 2 kids at home since covid closed schools really did a number on my productivity.

Yes please!! Even if you just write up the text and open a PR, I can assist with formatting and inclusion in the app. I don't have that module so it's a lot harder for me to write useful cheat sheets without using it firsthand.

Downloaded this app yeaterday and I love it!! As an addition, the Disting EX would be a-ma-zing. Only the single mode would be necessary I think, since dual mode is just 2 disting Mk4's. Oh and Endorphines Milky Way, that keeps confusing me. Thanks again and keep up the good work!!

I’m looking to hire a part-time (around 10hrs per month) technical writer on contract to add more modules to the Synth Modes website (synthmodes.com) and iOS app.

Ideal candidates would be familiar with eurorack synthesizers. The job entails reading and summarizing synthesizer manuals into the more digestible “cheat sheet” format.

The “cheat sheets” you write will be published as open source, written in simple HTML/CSS and stored in the Github repository https://github.com/boourns/synthmodes.

Also good news, I've got someone who will be a paid writer for Synth Modes to add modules. It might take awhile for them to get up to speed but it should result in more regular releases.
