Oh ok. They can of course be only probabilities on the used CV columns. If you set the columns to other destinations then you can access these. The probability works on what is possible to sequence within the columns.

So I have tracks 7 and 8 assigned to More CV 16. For that I get more cv1-6 on 7 and cv7-12 on 8. Forgetting the fact there are not even columns for cv13-16, the available cv probabilities are cv1, 2, 3, 4 or 5+6. So 5 and 6 are lumped together for some reason. The columns on track 8 are labeled 7 - 12 (for more cv 7 - 12). The available FX cv prob are 1-4 and 5+6. Is that built in 1-6, more cv 1-6, or are 1-6 actually 7 through 12? Any way you slice it this is no way to run a horse race.

There is no option to tie a track, but you can start other tracks from the sequencer using FX commands.
That’s perfect, I completely missed that option before, thanks.

It is columns 1 - 4 and 5+6. Not CV.
5+6 are actually tied together because they are no more probability slots available.

I had to send my Winter Modular Eloquencer to Spain for repair this week, and now I'm contemplating trying out another sequencer. My previous sequencer was a Squarp Hermod and I liked the MIDI effects it had and the ability to freely assign CV channels to specific roles (polyphonic pitc, pitch + velocity + aftertouch). I liked the input on the Eloquencer more, but still feel a bit constrained when I editing pattern chains etc.

I've looked at the NerdSeq before but was always a bit intimidated by the UI and the tracker paradigm, but I'm starting to feel that the ableton-esque clips view would be more suitable to my needs.

So my questions are:
- Coming from Hermod and Eloquencer, would I like the NerdSeq (more), especially the main overview with the clips?
- Would it be easier to use polyphony in the NerdSeq (I saw that I could use the Mod for another note CV, but could I also creat chords of 3 lanes?)

Any thoughts would be appreciated :)

Haha, but that is me...and it is always very personal, at least for the first question. With functionality there is no doubt. But it has to click and you got to be into the workflow (which you can find out of course...many many users that got the vibe and were scared before as well)

Polyphony is most probably one of its' strengths. You can achieve it in multiple ways. And it can do the chords, too. Just what you prefer (only chords or real polyphony). And that also for midi, so you can be 4 voice polyphonic per midi channel.

Aaahhhhggghhh

I knew this day would come but still bought it early.

Worth it.

Btw I’d love to be able to buy different panels for the nerdseq, I have the aluminum/black but I’d really love the blue one.

They do, but I believe the blue one was only for the original version with the smaller screen, as that one isn't available. They have the standard three: black, aluminum, and aluminum with black highlights.

I'm slowly going more and more into Tables things and I'm happy with results I get already but I would love to know your favorites approaches to this feature ? How do you organise your Tables ? I'm not really into quantising stuff yet since I like to write my own sequence by ear but I know it is super powerful as well.
So far I like to set the table sequence to reset at 7 with some oct up or down to get evolving sequences, being able also to place a table ON or OFF per step is huge as well.
