I’m trying to use algorithm H-1 to crossfade between 2 different clock signals (5x, 3x) but it doesn’t work as expected. Results are very erratic. Any tip?

Btw with algorithm N-1 Switch it’s working fine.

I found the solution, parameter 1 (clip mode) has to be set to 1 and not 0

with the cross fader its fading back and forth between the clock sources so you'll get a period were they are being mixed together the switch is the better algo for the job

Hello,
I've bought a disting and it came with the 4.7 firmware.
in order to update it to the latest version I have to flash the b2 bootloader and then I can flash the latest firmware, am I correct?

Been using the H5 algo (Dual Euclidean Patterns) quite a bit recently, adjusting the parameters via MIDI through an old Korg Nano Kontrol.

That said, I struggle with the rotation parameters.
They basically don't rotate but push the patterns further out and cut/crop the triggers that would go beyond.
Let's say you have 16 step rhythm, rotate 8 steps, this generates 8 steps of silence + the first half of the active pattern.

Is this the intended behaviour?

I have a Disting MK4 and the midi breakout.

Can I connect another MK4 or MK3 to the same midi breakout so both can recieve the same midi clock?

And if so, how?

You can chain a second MK4 (not sure about 3) directly from the MIDI out of the first, with Dupont cables. But set it to MIDI thru. I have mine setup this way, along with the second MK4 connected to the out of the breakout.

is there an algorithm to convert line level to eurorack level so I can plug my phone or laptop headphone out into my modular? Or is that something for an update?

I think the multiplier can do that, although you'll increase the noise floor the same amount as it's done digitally.

Can confirm this works with input from phone into X and a voltage into Y. Hadn't even considered that possible, thanks another time Schledge!
