Very nice. I was wondering where Needleham source their hardware from.

I'm itchy to make an order when they're available.

Still hoping that you will include the new Intellijel dual-vca in the series.
(I already have two.) https://www.modulargrid.net/e/intellijel-dual-vca-1u
Thank you! :) Should be some available now.
Excellent!

I did a test order for a few panels to see the shipping cost to Canada.
It's reasonable, but I thought I'd bug you another time to see
if a black/gold panel for the Intellijel 1U dual-vca is in the near future ????
before I hit the PayPal button. Thanks for any insights.
Yes definitely in the plans, but I've not had a chance to get a hold of the panel for one yet. Hopefully soon.

Are you still using Escrow for PCB fab?
Yes, they do a good job and are very helpful. Though I am running into some quality issues. If those aren't able to be addressed, I'll have to find another manufacturer.

My current progress on my black system. (Many of the modules are suboptimal and in the case solely because they are black.)

WMD just posted the Arpitecht and Triad with the new black panels.

The heart of my system is built around two Arpitechts and a Triad. Now I'm going to have to go through the hassle of selling the old ones and coughing up the cash for the new ones. Dammit.

Blackness is a harsh mistress and I shall not question the good fortune of any new black panels.

Just ask them for the panel and change them yourself :hmm: It's what I did for my Noise Engineering and Mannequins modules.

You can even take it one step further and change the knobs to make them all the same style :sb:

tbh I'm grateful that more and more manufacturers are saving costs by offering only black panels now that this has become a fashion statement, as I'm in the now-retro camp of preferring silver panels + have similar levels of OCD about the visual cohesiveness of my system. so this actually keeps my euro GAS at bay.

I designed a new range of metallic Gold Tendrils specifically for black panelled systems.

The golden lines on the faceplates of Instruo and Natural Gate are sexy looking.

Shout out to my fellow black panelers!

Just a quick update on new black panel options:

WMD continues moving to black panels with the black paneled Arpitecht and Triad! Alex at WMD also let me know that later this year they will start offering replacement black panels via the website for those of us that already own Arpitecht and Triad.

Also, seemingly out of nowhere, Malekko Heavy Industries is now offering the Voltage Block with a black panel through their website.

More options, more better!

I plan to make plastic coated prints to put on top of the few silver modules I own, just download a full resolution image, reverse color in photoshop and make adjustments ( you can also customise lettering and module name  ). I do not want to expend too much money in make it look good, and besides, some modules do not have alternative black panels for sale.

I was thinking about picking up some replacement panels and realized I don't have any tools to remove the current ones. Can anyone advise what tools work best for this?

I just want to point out, that you can order any Ladik modules in black. I sent him a mail, saying that I would like such and such modules in black, and he said, no problem. Not much more than a week after, he notified me, that I could now order them in his web shop. And a few days later, four new matte black modules were in my hands.

So a big black thumbs up for Ladik.

And now I am quite close to bringing my system to a “completion”. Off course completion of current plans, - it will always be in some state of flux.
Real pics will follow.

I'm getting close to all-black with one of my racks. I received the second of the BKM panels I've ordered, and this one came with a Jack Chick tract. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ This one had a Jesus fish printed on the back, too, can't remember if the past one did. I mean, it doesn't affect the quality of the panels, but I thought it was kind of weird.

Here's my in progress, partially blacked out rig. Got a Magpie replacement for the Plaits on the way, but I really need to find someone making a black panel for Plonk and the Intellijel Stereo In 1U modules. ( ;) ;) @retoid) Pretty annoying that Intellijel makes black cases but refuses to make black panels.
