David W. ( Bubblesound) recovering from surgery

Post by revmutt » Mon Aug 04, 2014 6:26 pm

Just to keep both friends and Bubblesound customers abreast.

David went into the hospital on the 27th of July with what the doctors thought might be an appendicitis. He had surgery in the wee hours of the 28th, the thing turned out to be a ruptured appendix.

He now is rocking an 8" stapled incision which will make him look hot to the ladies but is a bit sore at the moment. According to the doctors, he's got about 6-8 weeks rehab and recovery time.

I think he's a bit limited on what he's going to be up for in terms of work in the next few weeks. He asked me to post something because he didn't want people who are waiting on stuff to not know what was going on. I hope that people will give the guy some breathing room.

I don't know what kind of online access he is going to have but I am in touch with him.

David, I hope you have a fast recovery. I remember them making me get up on my feet and walking sooner than I wanted. Plus they took away the morphine. The bastards! Get well.

I hope he gets better soon! My wife shade surgery for a ruptured appendix on May 10th, with a second surgery on June 3rd for an abscess. She had a month with a wound vac on and still has an open incision about two cm deep.hopefully they gotto his soon after it ruptured. Hers had ruptured a few weeks before she had enough pain go go to the doctor. From experience I wouldn't think he will be up to much work for a good long while.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery David. And so weird - I know three people who had major appendix issues in a two week period.
