Spiffy! Get that SubH in there too!

Which episodes did Spock smile in?
:hihi: but there is more... my DFAM is below the SH and my Crave sitting below that - can't fit it all in there -
About Spock, I need to check that, but I prefer her smiling 8-)

 same here. I know there was a smile in the menagerie, after the singing flowers on Talos IV.
Oh, you need teeny little hands for turning little teeny knobs, like you need little teeny license plates for bees.

I like the case setup here!

What size are the top two Doepfer cases, they look to be less than 84 HP and if they are the 84 HP Doepfer cases, how have you attached them to the bottom monster case please? Do the top two cases have the same back fasteners as the larger monster cases?

Those top cases are Doepfer P9 which are 9U x 84HP. They do not have the fasteners on the back like the monster cases and are likely attached by gravity. :hihi:

As a side note 2 x P9 cases are more expensive than 1 x PMS9 case.

Ahhh, okay...

After some investigations I discovered that they did not have the fasteners lol, so at long last I have committed to a case! I have ordered the Doepfer angled bottom case like yours and the PMS9 case coming from Thomann.

Would have preferred the PMS6 case on the top, but this does not look to be available anyplace, as it seems to be a special made to order part, so went for the 9u version.

Guess it gives me even more scope / room for buying even more heroin modular kit!

Just to let you know that set up isn't mine, I was just passing on the info.

Where are you based? The PMS6 is available at KMR Audio...https://www.kmraudio.com/doepfer-pms6-eurorack-case.php#

Still early days in getting the sound I want, but have managed to pick up a few modules to edge me closer like a Noise oscillator and Mutable peaks clone (currently playing with them in my tiny portable doepfer box). Have 10 or so modules to build, so will be running out of space very soon! So decided today to add a 6U rack it’ll all sit on.

Had a little tidy up last night, to start organising them a little better and more logically, with clocks top left, main voices top right, utilities middle left (ie LFO and envelope generators), filters and bits on the middle right. Or something like that. Hands on stuff and sequencers will go in the flat 3U bit (minus the two modules there now that I’m selling). And when I build the 6U rack, it’ll all become a mess 😂.

Just nabbed a lovely Pamelas Workout (mk1) which will hopefully add the secondary clock I’ve been wanting.

I’m after two kinds of sounds, so it’s going to be a confused looking rack 😂

(Obligatory Colin Benders LP sitting just behind it too 😬)

In the US they're in stock at Perfect Circuit as well. I just bought one myself, plus the base to match which only came in stock a couple days ago. New photos soon :tu:

Heads up.

The PMS6 was not in stock in the U.K at KMR, I thought it was too good to be true.

They are asking their German colleagues to see if they have any knocking about in the warehouse.

Was excited there for a minute!

Still pretty fresh into the modular world but getting a lot of mileage out of this setup! There’s plenty to keep me busy but not too much to get overwhelmed with.

That's a great attitude to have, and looks like a nice setup.

The wire rack shelves are NOT ideal - but until I move into a 9U Doepfer on top of the Doepfer base will just have to do. There are 3 Lion modules from Instruo and a fair bit of control surfaces which allow me to patch and then control from there which makes it bearable for now.

Please dont leave those lower power connectors exposed like that! One slip with a patch cable and you could fry a lot of modules. :eurosmoke:

About a year and a half into it and I've got a nice sample mangling machine/synth voice!
Now that I've got most of the fancy stuff sorted, time to focus on building some of the simpler utilities and stuff.

Any suggestions?
A larger case is being considered.
