Funky original build. I LIKE that!
Oh, you need teeny little hands for turning little teeny knobs, like you need little teeny license plates for bees.

I went the mostly Mutable route for the main rack mainly because you can fit lots of function with not much hp, and also... cuz it looks nice.

The smaller case is more of a portable granular tape machine that is still being built.

It looks like there's about 6 HP free at the far right of the middle row. What's that about???. Ha ha. I kid. That's some serious modular you've got right there cpr2323! Holey Moley!

the MK2 "malekko/richter" versions have the LFO buttons also the Anti has the oscillator waveform fixed so there's no 'kink' it or whatever the thing was that people complained about. the gargoyle versions will go into lfo mode.. i think you pull out the knob on the fine tune.. i can't remember but i'm sure someone here can tell you about it.

That's an awesome looking little system there, I might build something similar myself! What case is that?

Not mine, but that’s the discontinued Intellijel 4U 104 case. The new 104 Palette case is pretty similar, but adds mults and jacks over the 1U row making this upsidedownedness a bit awkward.

That's what I thought it was but wasn't too sure so thought I'd ask! Thank you for confirming my suspicions... :tu:

I'm just starting out in the modular synthesis world and this is my first attempt at a virtual build.

How is this looking? Are there any module types I might be missing? Will this rack be capable of making complete musical pieces? Any suggestions for alternative or additional modules?

When I do start to purchase these modules, which should I start with?

My goal with this build is to be able to create cool musical pieces with drums and melodies using only the rack itself.

Should probably start a separate thread, but what are you going to sequence your melodies with? I don’t have either, but Pam’s AND Trigger Riot feels a little redundant in this amount of space. Could definitely make some noise with this, though.
Perpetual n00b.

thanks, i'll start a separate thread. i was looking at Pam's for its quantizing capabilities and Trigger Riot for it's complex patterns but i'm not too familiar with eithers full capabilities.
