There’s one D-2000 at schneidersladen and one at Detroit Modular.
Just got emails from both of them telling me so!
I pulled the trigger on Koenraad’s D-1000 a few days ago so I’m out!

stumbling into this thread apropos of nothing.
I acquired a D2000 from a friend a year or so ago and absolutely love it.
Here's a live set from last year heavily featuring it both as a drum machine sequenced by the metron and as a distortion processor with one of the aux sends on my mixer feeding it:

I'm now polishing up material from some related sessions into a release.
It can be quite difficult to convince it on any given day that it wants to make drums and not drones but I think it responds well with a lot of practice. The ducking obtained by the saturated mix bus can create some great rhythms too.

Well if I can get my Harley sold (needs a bit of work more like Hardley American it's a 2005) I would certainly be down since I'm down to one drum machine. Bitch broke so much shit... It is funny and tragic so the best sorta funny. I still have Ableton so I guess I should say I have infinite virtual capabilities at least. :despair:

Plans are either rk modules or finding a d1000 or 2000 eventually. I'm still spending my tax return on an rk7 and some horsecock. :goo: Damn the IRS for being so so woefully behind. I hope Big City or Detroit modular still has a few left by then. :omg:
