A few weeks ago a friend tried to argue that APP is prog. ???! I rebutted, "the vocal tracks are all verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, verse, chorus. That's pure pop, not prog. And very formulaic.".

But I still like the "I Robot" instrumental.

Try being a 5U/MU guy.... been waiting on some modules(that I put a deposit on) for close to 6 months now. I wouldn't even know what to do with myself if AH started selling 5U. :hihi: Only 6 months? For fuck's sake, there are people still waiting for MOTM modules they ordered 6 years ago! An...

On the MOTM-350 panel (left to right side). But it looks like it needs to be that way and I'm pretty it will look different with knobs on it. It doesn't have to be that way, but that's how the E350 panel reads, and while I don't always follow Paul's lead, in this case it makes sense (to me at least...

E350. Inspired by Dave Brown. Not real happy with the Phase legends on the pots being over and the ones on the jacks being under, but I liked the alternative even less. Also unhappy with how crowded the switches are, but I couldn't see this being a 3U module. https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/userpi...

I want to 5U-ize all my SynthTech E series modules, thought I'd run them by you first. For the E340 & E350, to keep all the input scaling pots I decided to go with a 10-turn vernier instead of the Coarse/Fine pots. A little more expensive, but I'd rather have the FM scaling on the panel. https:/...

Again, it all depends on what you want to do with the synth - so keep asking questions :tu: I'm glad somebody finally brought that up. A modular can be many things - glorified monosynth, signal processor, scary noise source...or all of the above and more, depending on budget and space. Having a foc...

Yeah, that's what I said. But i couldn't properly test it in the LF range because I've misplaced my 1/4" adapters. So I listened to it in the audio range.

Don't worry - I'm sure plenty of folks will like using it as a VCO. ;)

Got my boards Tuesday. They look great. I especially like how you located the tempco underneath the LS318P. Speaking of which, I read somewhere that those can be used to replace the SSM2210, so I ordered extras for the parts drawer. I got those from Trendsetter for US$4.25 each. Thanks for the excel...

Is there a resource that illustrates the waveforms/bank for the LFO?

I had found one for the E350 and wondered if a similar chart were available for us who don't have an oscilloscope (yet).
Insert/instruction sheets for both the E355 and the E340 would also be helpful!

I'm building a large 5U system. Because of the mostly vertical orientation of the modules, I decided that a vertical signal flow would make the most sense. CV sources & logic on top; LFOs, ADSRs & VCAs below that; next are VCOs w mixers interspersed; VCFs & waveshapers below that; FX, mi...

So should also get 2 or more of each filter then I guess.... :deadbanana: I've got a friend who does this, so he can run everything in stereo. I like clusters of 3 oscillators. The MiniMoog and EMS Synthi have 3, and a lot of the sounds I've programmed on the DX7 use 3 oscillator stacks, so it made...

what do you think of the new innerlock clocking module It looks expensive & I don't understand why it doesn't have a MIDI in? I'm pretty sure the idea is that to get sample accurate midi sync out you have to start with something other than midi. Yup. Even if MIDI wasn't a crappy protocol for ti...
