Re: performer (or is it per|former?) sequencer build

lifting the ground on this, advisable? I used to live in a 14 person art collective. We had a 2 hour house meeting each week to iron out any issues. There was a rule we had to impose that you couldn't bring up (frequently unwashed) dishes in the first hour or else the entire two hours would be spen...

Re: Roast my rack

I love how people put Beads into their racks when they don't realize it should be, "Hi! I'm planning a rack for 2023!"

(Just kidding, I've had a preorder in for months now, not expecting it to ship this year....Yes, I see the original poster here says he has it already...)

I'm sure others have more experience, but I've compiled Hemisphere with Capt Midi included and had to disable other things. You do get a warning on compile that things are too large, if they are.

Re: Talk me out of buying MI Warps

I don't know if it's in the VCV Rack version, but running the Parasites firmware on Warps is the way to go. Takes nothing away except for simplicity and consistency :) I found I preferred the standard firmware, no need for a cheat sheet. Funny, I got my Warps from you... but Actually not really, wi...

>zlob vnicursal VCA I'm always suggesting this, partly because it's a dense but easy through-hole diy build if you go that route. But you get a nice 6 channel submixer, with VCAs and outputs for each channel that get taken out of the main mix when you use them. All in 8hp. You don't get any frills l...

Re: First Eurorack Skiff

I'd go for a nanorings and add a uO_C. I'd probably go for a uplaits too. uO_C (Hemispheres) can have USB midi in/out, but through the inside of the case, connected to the teensy. To me it looks like you've got a lot of ways to make sound, but no way to play a melody or sequence. I'm not one of thos...

Nice, the 2021 thread! I’m looking to dip my feed into NLC world and I’d appreciate if you guys have any mouser/tayda carts. As a beginner at DIY electronics looking at boms and organizing what I need to order gets confusing super quick. The only one I could put together just using tayda was 4seq. ...

Good to know. I haven’t actually used a Rampage, but I really like the other Befaco modules I’ve used. Percall and Burst are both really cool. I find Burst a little disappointing. I keep wishing there was a way to use the trigger in as a tap tempo... Maybe it's how I tend to use it,but it's frequen...

Re: DIY 4ms SMR

Yeah, that's exactly what I did as well. I went with some #defines as suggested above (as if you'd be able to tell in the compiled code), it all comes down to blue now being the second to be sent and green last. colorswap.png There's also a slightly different bit in LEDDriver_setRGBLED, but the ide...

Re: DIY 4ms SMR

I had a stab at swapping the green & blue colours, though I have no way of testing this . So, try the attached firmware at your own risk - the default, known working one is in my previous post. There's again a halfstep (default, 2 pulses per click) and fullstep (4 pulses per click) version dependin...

It's not as simple as changing the type of output jack.
Hmm, why not? I really don't know. Seems plausible... what am I overlooking?
You'd get a lot of issues with pebkac noise in the circuit.

I build the Hyperchaos. I have hardly used it (or the other NLC I built) mostly due to time and such. Be aware the Hyperchaos, per Andrew, should be built with the same color leds. (I have a second with the smd done waiting to be finished.) I built 2x Feague and love them the best, but I can't expla...

JETHRO TULL - Passion Play, Thick as a Brick,
