Re: Synth Tech e520 Hyperion Stereo Audio Processor

I would love to see something granular that takes advantage of the lovey screen real estate. Something simple and graphic like the IOS app “Spacecraft”.

Yeah, on mine the channels vary in their response time too. At first it blush it bugged me, now I see it as a feature; variable response times.

Re: Introducing Chainsaw - 4hp polyphonic supersaw oscillator

Does anyone know if the firmware is editable, or if Acid Rain is open to feature requests? I’ve contacted them with one of my requests and Ryan came back to me and said that the update process sadly wasn’t user friendly enough for updates. He did kindly suggested some other solutions to me. They se...

Re: mantis bag for intellijel 7u performance case?

I have never handled either Mantis bag, but I have read a number of times about the poor quality of the first iteration. I haven’t heard anything about the new version. But frankly, from the pics, they look like cheap construction. I do have an Intellijel bag, and can say that it is well padded and ...

Just saw Vintage King has Erica Synths Black Sequencers in stock for $499. For some reason this and Erica Black Spring Reverb are $100 cheaper here than anywhere else.

Re: Mutable Instruments' Stages, or time to get a "real" function-generator?

Yeah, why not. They’re easy to find used, and they do look nice parked next to a new Veils. You should dig into the thread on the expanded firmware. Long story short; new FW adds mini marbles, bipolor erryting, switched pot/slider assignments, switched mode functionality, a nice mod to the Easter Eg...

25% at Prymaxe. The real deal though; the discount code wont work on all the high ticket items I added to my cart, but the next day, I got offers of 20-22% off of every single item. If you’re in the market for a Matriarch, I was quoted $1578 with shipping, no sales tax. Another kicker, if the item i...

The Joranalogue Morph 4 is also worth a look. It’s brand spank’n new so there’s not much info out there other yet, but it’s an incredibly versatile quad morphing VCA extravaganza.

Re: Joranalogue GENERATE 3 - Through-Zero Multiphonic Signal Generator

I have a Twin Waves to modulate my ZPO and Gen3. It has all the usual bells and whistles; a ton of wave forms, sync input, FM input, and a cv input for each osc.’s program dependent modulator (PWM, detune, etc.). It has a really shallow menu that is easy to navigate, it’s fairly small at 8hp, and i...

Re: Nerdsynth NerdSEQ - eurorack tracker/sampler

I don’t have the CV expanders yet. If I assign 2 CV16 expanders to 4 different tracks, does each expander get its own “batch” of 8 lfo’s and envelopes to use within their assigned track/s, or do all CV expander tracks share access to the same 8 ? I am not referring to Automator lfo’s and envelopes....

Re: So how do you like your Verbos Scan&Pan?

I use a Scan & Pan exclusively as a quad panning vca, and it is fiddly to set up, but works just fine for that purpose. I generally start with the gain at 9:00, faders down, and scan and width between noon and 1:00, but again, some dialing in is necessary.

Expanders can only be controlled from the track they were assigned to, but you can control modular tracks from the FX lanes of an expander track.

Twin Waves MK II was just announced. I use my Twin Waves almost exclusively as a modulation source for my G3 and ZPO. It has a ton of wave forms and modes, but is easy to navigate. It has 2 v/o inputs and it’s only 8 hp. Since Mk II just came out, you’ll be seeing some used Mk 1’s up for sale soon, ...

Yeah, I’ve been eyeing it pretty hard. I have a Springray 2 now and it’s great, but I think another option with a completely different feature set would be an interesting addition.... especially combined with a mid-side module; stereo drip and feedback.

Re: Feedback Modules CP3— Mixer vs Manhattan DTM

I believe the consensus regarding the STG and MA comes down to jack placement preference. On the MA they’re all at the bottom of the panel, on the STG the input jacks are between the level pots.
