Re: Ground Control by Endorphin.es

Hi cathmart, as far as I checked, the squarp rample is using midi trs 3.5 type A (korg, while ground control is using type B (arturia, novation). the solution to this, could be : - stick to midi din - buy a dedicated cable - create your own, by sacrifying one of your stereo cable). there is a few tu...

Re: Ground Control by Endorphin.es

Is there something I need to do to activate the reset out? I have Ground Control playing a simple 16 step loop and I have the reset out plugged into Mordax Data and I'm not seeing any triggers occurring. Hi Transferpoint, that's actually a very good question, at a perfect timming. - the current imp...

Re: Ground Control by Endorphin.es

Hi vvglyy, I checked a bit, that's a bit too close to the spec. Power modules needs to dissipate power in order to convert it. This means, that the module will run on the hot side of the things. So no immediate harm expected, but if we sum the + and - power rails, that would possibly reduce the modu...

Re: Endorphin.es Shuttle system

Oh wow, thanks Klick! That helps! I really want to go the strange way when making music and am looking forward to see where it's going instead of knowing what i do all the time. That's why I chose the 2 (Endorphines / Make Noise). Will the Shuttle System keep surprising me whereas the MN Trio will ...

Re: Endorphin.es Shuttle system

Hi Suice7, it's a hard question actually, and noone can better reply this than you, anyway hope the following may help you : - the shuffle is a self contained system. It means, that it's very easy to move, only one piece, the patch can stay in place with the cover shipped with it, etc. That's extrem...

Hi BigUpStu, does it occur with track 1 ? 2 ? 3 all ? sorry to ask this, but are you sure you plugged into pitch and not gate ? (it happened to me more than once... :p ) May you on track 1 : - press tempo + M , then A - check that it show 1, adjust it if necessary. If it is stuck on OFF, please upda...

Re: Kermit mk III - coming soon

those pins are used for updating the firmware. if you don't plan on doing that, its probably not a big deal and will function normally. however, if ever you did want to update the fw (and you'll need a special tool to do that, welcome to IME gear) then you'll want to carefully bend those pins back ...

Re: Ground Control by Endorphin.es

I’m thinking the ground control is going to be the central brain on my system but with pam’s as clock is anyone using it that way? the fact that ground control have midi/usb roots, I would rather use it as a master clock, with PAM slaved to it. The internal clock is extremely fast and stable, so it...

Hi cpaf, answer to take with not a pinch of salt, but the entire salt mine... if you see what I mean. for the if : That's the current plan about scales and modulation, we anyway face some ui design concerns, as we have currently a LOT of modulation target/sources, and we are looking for a neat wait ...

Re: Piston Honda MKIII dual morphing wavetable oscillator

thanks, very curious to know ;) Yeah, I’m aware that the PH is purposely geared towards a more lo-fi sound. That’s why I’m keeping both. It should be noted though that the e352 can get quite brutal as well but while retaining a high quality sound. All of the sounds here were done with the e352: htt...

Re: Piston Honda MKIII dual morphing wavetable oscillator

The interpolation sounds better on the e352 when doing slow unfiltered modulation of the wavetables. I find this makes the 2op FM sound a bit cleaner and hi-fi on the e352. Luckily for the PHmk3 these points don’t really matter because it sounds insane and awesome and the workflow is really great. ...

Hi Tonefloat01,

they will do great stuff together. Keep also in minds that you can chain 2 shuttle control.
It's what Julia is using as setup for some time, by the way.

you'll enjoy it no doubt :)

I received mine today from SchneidersLaden (it's still in stock there, btw). First impression: Love it! Pads are a bit hard to press but I think that I'll get used to it. Getting the SD card out and back in is a bit tricky. The first two hours were fun and I'm looking forward to digging in deeper. ...

Re: Ground Control by Endorphin.es

i really don't see the reason to go with the Ground Control over ksp I fully understand that the unit may not hype you. That's absolutely fair, for example bsp, is a TOTAL turnoff for me, even if people praise it. I have one, I can't bear it, and would actually throw it out of the window, if I wasn...

Re: Ground Control by Endorphin.es

It would be cool if there was a jumper on the back to connect to a Shuttle Control module and use the 16 outputs on that module as an expander for the Ground Control... a short usb cable can be used for this purpose, it was designed with this in minds :) that's how you can get the velocity cv for m...

Re: Would Pam’s and Varigate 4+ be good additions for Shuttle System?

Hi there, adding my small grain of salt, I've made the last release of the shuttle control, and it bring to the table the following : - tap tempo clock (from the unit itself, or triggered externally from midi cc). - added a BUNCH of various random, buchla/serge inspired, with my own flavors. Most of...

Re: Ground Control by Endorphin.es

for those pots, they are not endorphin.es specific as far as I remember. the best is to write them an email. They may tell you where to buy them, or may offer to sell a pair. Just as a small advice, if they offer you a price, that look expensive, keep in minds that when I saw the distributor price t...

Re: Shuttle Control by Endorphines

Hi Wubz, such messages are not handled. But, one good thing, is that the shuttle control, when using a smooth midi cc, will not output stepped data, like regular converters, but nice curve absolutely useable. It means that with a 7 bits input (midi cc from 0 to 127) steps control, you have actually ...
