Re: Livening up the mono sequence with occasional ratchets/bursts

Gate-->Befaco Burst (probability set to something< 100%) --> EG or Synth Voice However, Befaco have confirmed that Burst output is always just a trigger, so any gate length would get lost in the above. Not ideal. Assuming that my sequencer does not do ratcheting, and short of replacing it, is there...

Re: Eurorack add-on for Elektron Digitakt

All of the modules you want/need, plus a case and power, and you getting close to the cost of a brand new Octatrack MKII. The OT doesn't have an FM synth, but you can probably get close to what you want using single-cycle waveforms and the internal modulation. If I were you, I'd keep it with the Ele...

Re: Mosaic 1U Tile Module Line

The problem with the 1u > 3u adapters is that they turn the module sideways, so labels and pot marking are harder to read. I'd like to see one maybe 24hp or so that holds 3 rows of 1u horizontally. I don't think you'd be able to fit three rows because you'd need rails going across to screw into abo...

Weird. I tried using a VPN that specifically advertises being able to access the BBC iPlayer, and it still didn't work. Maybe I did it wrong?
I also found this on the iPlayer site:

We've gotten to the point where the amount of 1u modules I want is surpassing the amount of 1u space I have.
Seems a good time for someone to make a 3U adapter to stack a few 1U in a single normal space.

Hello, I need someone (US-based, preferably West Coast) to repair a bad build of an ADDAC104 Eurorack module.
Please PM me if you are interested. Thanks!

I don't have one, but I believe the rise and fall outputs get close. Obviously, rise isn't the same as eoc, but it covers some of the same ground.
Yeah, it sounds like the gate is high during the entire stage. Is that correct?

Re: After Later Audio Tilt (x2) instead of Maths?

I don't see any EOR or EOC outputs. That is a pretty useful function that you'd be missing.
I'd personally go for two ALM Pip Slope MK2 if I were trying to replace Maths in a smaller footprint.

Anyways looking quickly at the back of my DT, there is no way they could fit 8 outputs in this form factor. Not without sacrificing a whole bunch of other connections. mini-jacks would fit I suppose you are right. Someone on that thread I linked had an interesting idea of using a DB socket. That wo...

I can recommend the Accra 6U from Modular Maritime, though it looks like the smallest model (54HP) is out of stock at the moment. I've got the 68HP (also out of stock) and it is very solid - shipping from France to W. Coast USA was also affordable and fast. If it looks interesting to you, try messag...

Erica Sample Drum? I've had 2X Radio Music, 3X Tiptop One, and Erica Sample Drum at different points to fill my sample playback needs. What's the deal with those Warped Circuits modules? I thought that, while the hardware and software are open-source, it is not OK to clone the original Mutable Instruments' panel design. I've always been curious about that since they popped up on the market.

Pittsburgh Primary Oscillator might be somewhere in the middle of the two suggestions above. It's not really a "complex" oscillator, but it can do lots of different timbres.

Had to shove a flying bus cable in there to get the Pedal I/O going. Haven't plugged anything into it yet, so I hope it works:

Re: Side chain effect from Pamelas or Mutable stages?

I also tried using Mutable stages - Unfortunately I cant find a way to just have a single ramp stage This is possible by just sending a gate to a single stage in green mode. You should get a "decay-only" envelope - use the knob to adjust the curve. Check at 00:36 into this video: https://www.youtub...

https://www.modulargrid.net/e/2hp-switch is the same width as the Zlob. I used to have that push vca module. It's pretty great (no clicks or pops when muting), but only 2 channels. With the 2hp switch you can have the 3 inputs you want for scenario ii - and just leave the 4th unpatched as a "mute". ...

Re: Audio interface with 2 or more inputs

I've been using the Roland Rubix 44 for about a year now. For the price, it is pretty great. Really clean recording quality and it has a compressor/limiter on each input. It handles Euro levels well with some light attenuation (I actually just use a passive line out module most of the time). The thi...

I figured but I'd like to have a dedicated module and not waste the precious pairs of the switchblade for the workaround  I want to be able to both mix/switch and distribute.
The answer is 2 more switchblades, obviously

Re: Problem Eurorack

FYI - I am not sure about the Wasp filter, but if you have a filter that closes all the way (i.e. cuts off all sound when the frequency is at the lowest setting), you can get away with making a bassline w/o a VCA. so, you'd connect the envelope output to the VCF's frequency CV input instead of the V...
