Re: Make Noise 0 Coast

Edit: Never mind, it was an audio routing issue... I'm attempting to send gates from my Motu 8M which has 5V audio outs with no reaction from the 0-coast. I'm using Bitwig and I have tried several methods, f ex a DC offset device with a short envelope and the cv hardware device. Even sending recorde...

Regarding Milky Way and I guess ANY module, make sure you gain-stage properly or you will get unwanted stuff. It appears as if that or some interference between modules through the power system is the problem. I'll get one tonight so I'll be able to test it out.

I had a chat with Andreas from Endorphins about the envelope generator. It turns out that he made a little twist on the track and hold so that in stead of the T/H simply letting the CV go back to full strength as the gate ends, you have an option to slew it in accordance with the A/R knobs. A super ...

I built a L-1 stereo mixer and was surprised to find that the pots are curved exponentially which leaves very little wiggle room in the louder ranges. I hear that the Happy Nerding Panmix is the same. I'll answer with a reply I had via email from Igor from Happy Nerding: "2xSAM, 3xStereo Mixer, 3xM...

I had a quick look during Modular Day at Befaco a couple of weeks ago and they are great. Well thought through so that most of them incorporate some functions that I normally use another module to get. johny_gtr, before listening demos, I prefer mono analog filter/lpg than digital and stereo but who...

How do you find the sample-playing capabilities so far? I'm having trouble transferring my BatchPro license to my new computer so I can't format the samples to 8bit (either with Bitwig or Audacity) - so I haven't tried the sample sequencer yet. My brain likes the layout but we'll see what the rest ...

I've been using the Eloquencer since a couple of years and it is great for reasons that matter to me. Triple visual feedback in the buttons, the LED grid and the display which shows the values in relation to each other using vertical bars. It made a huge difference for me but I never enjoyed the son...

I'm a new and impressed user. Are there any useful charts around the internet? I'm thinking about the hex conversion chart in the manual as an example. It would be quicker to learn it with visual aids... I also heard about tracker forums before but I can't find them now.

I still haven't found a reliable way to save files in the right way. Bitwig does not export monno, I can't make it work in reaper despite the options being present and Batch Pro acts really weird and I'm in contact with their support. Audacity shows and exports the wrong bit depth. What's next? Mayb...

File format and ease of use

I've been having trouble loading samples into the Wave but it mostly boils down to missing either mono, 16bit or some metadata in the file. I like using it for kick/snare/hats during live play. The pitch algo is very destructive which is very useful for getting different timbres from the one sample....

Befaco Burst doesn't cover all the bases and needs external modulation but I'm having tons of fun triggering envelopes for leads with it. There was some talk of MI Frames and one feature I really enjoy is that the 4 channels have individually variable response curves (exp/lin/log). Is the Synapse always linear? Synapse seems a bit more elaborate with the initial crossfaders and other frills so I'd probably end up patching them differe...

huffnPuff, I wouldn't know how to use the equipment but if a couple of videos are enough instruction it's withing reach.

The case is portable enough but I risk making a "strange" impression... I haven't figured out how to make "DJ" and "synthesizer studio" attractive when when inspecting a flat.
