Re: Today my small discovery was...

Today I discovered that if you send GATES instead of triggers to an old Simmons SDS 8 drum module ... the envelope have a sustain phase, so you can make drones with it ! It's hell fun and even more when you throw it into an Angle Grinder hahaha

Re: Best Midi-CV options 2021 (for Elektron, Blackbox, synths w/out computer)

The CV.OCD is great as it can do anything you want if you take time to program it from a computer. Tho the basic setting with two voices of Pitch / Velocity / Gate / Trigger + the drum triggersand clock divissions is pretty awesome and probably enought for most use. I made a few videos about it if c...

Re: CC027 - Hitori Tori - Lost With Confidence [Acid / Breakcore]

HT has led me down many a night experimenting with multiple renoise windows and midi controllers. Will give this a listen when the mindset strikes me. Cool ! He's quite a wizzard indeed ! By the way here is a nice review by Igloo Mag about this EP. https://igloomag.com/reviews/hitori-tori-lost-with...

Re: BEST VCF at the moment ??

My new love goes to the Angle Grinder from Schlappi at the moment, the bandpass out is awesome, and the many internal feedback option make it a very unique and characterfull filter (and VCO ... and LFO ... and noisebox hahaha).

I do quite like the Ampeg brainworx emulation but indeed don't pay the usual price for those.

Re: New life for old sequencers.

I do find that analog sequencer (even digital ones that have a big enought interface) are the best for modulation of filters, enveloppe lenght or any other applications, more than for notes. It make a lot of sens in my mind to have a nice full featured digital sequencer with pattern saving for notes...

Re: Polyend Tracker

Hello my dudes and dudettes. I tried the slide method described above with my TD-3, but it would just play the note on the different track without the slide. Does anybody sequence a TD-3 with their tracker and knows whats up? I recall other people reporting it did not worked properly with the TD-03...

unless there is also sound coming from the Make Noise module too which is creating this sensation?
Ah yes that's it, at the end i'm using both together, and you can see me twiddle the "Fine" knob to change the note.

Quick question, what's changing the Angle Grinder pitch?
Nothing actualy, the PWM thing can sound like a sort of vibrato sometimes so it's probably that.

This is great, thank you for sharing. I have no idea why doing something like this never crossed my mind. Set my notification for tomorrow. Re: Schlappi Engineering - Angle Grinder

Hey there Angle Grinder fanatics ! Did anyone ever thought of sending slow CV to the Grind input ? Well it does great PWM sounds, you can check it out here: https://youtu.be/43MZuwZpHx8 I'm also hosting a big demo video tomorow, with the two other modules from the brand, and Eric Schlappi will be in...

Today my small discovery was how to get super massive PWM sounds by sending slow modulation to the Grind input of the Angle Grinder !

Re: Godeater vs. 100 Grit

Can't tell about the God Eater but the 100 Grit is for sure VERY controlable, from no distortion at all for pure filter uses, to mega noise box from hell.

I made a demo that's coming tomorow if you want to check:

Re: Toppobrillo Sport 2 – how to use?

The Sport Modulator is more close to the Serge SSG than Maths, wich sort of a rebuild of the DUSG.
You can check some great patches with the SSG here :
