anybody can explain why some oscis bleed through and others don't when using the fold control as a vca? That's odd! Can you please send a detailed description of what you're experiencing to support@joranalogue.com? so, i found something out I have one bigger case with a 4ms row power and two 4ms po...

Re: 303 slide

Hi, Is there a way to create a 303 style portamento/glide with the Joranalogue Contour 1? More specifically I‘m wondering how create the gate for the slide to happen only sometimes? (It was mentioned previously that you should use a switch for that, but as a newbie I‘m a bit lost here. I could prob...

Re: Joranalogue TRANSMIT 2 - Stereo Balanced XLR Line Outputs

Is the headphone volume loud enough? The headphone outputs reach up to unity gain. The actual loudness will depend on the sensitivity of your headphones, which varies wildly, but both very low and very high impedance sets are driven to high SPLs with ease. Please refer to the user manual for more d...

1. By the way, one question about bleeding, the FUND input does not close totally the FUND out? same as EVEN, ODD. Though 0V to these input, comes signal, although the led is off. It is normal behaviour with analogish? or something else? 2. Also, some weirdo thing, Fund. level knob 12 o'clock(0 gai...

Re: Joranalogue GENERATE 3 - Through-Zero Multiphonic Signal Generator

I haven't quite figured out how to make good use of the TZFM capabilities and I think I might have a fundamental misunderstanding of what TZFM is for. Hoping someone can help me understand? It's important to remember the role of the internal linear FM voltage, which essentially determines the modul...

Re: Joranalogue FOLD 6 - Multi-Topology Wavefolder

None of the potentiometers in Fold 6 are in the signal path, and the symmetry control specifically exists to add DC offset, so this is unlikely to cause the issue. Can you please record the sound, along with a detailed description of when and how it arises, and send this to supply@joranalogue.com? ...

Re: Joranalogue FOLD 6 - Multi-Topology Wavefolder

cracking/popping noise when being turned/touched On mixers this can happen if the pots have one single wiper and you mix some DC offset in the input. Maybe here it is the same? Re: Joranalogue FILTER 8 - Multimode Filter/8-Phase Oscillator

Was just speaking about this in another thread and wondering with filter 8, if I send an LFO in, will I get duplicates of that LFO to all phase shifted outputs? So I I sent a triangle LFO in, will it give me a triangle at each output each shifted by 90 degrees? No, and no module can do this, at lea...

Re: Joranalogue GENERATE 3 - Through-Zero Multiphonic Signal Generator

Hmm, that's odd! What kind of pitch deviation figures are you getting? Keep in mind that you'll need to continually cycle between the 0 V and +5 V states while tuning. Don't look at the absolute pitch, only the exact interval between the low and high states. Also, S2 is most likely the most accurat...

Re: Joranalogue GENERATE 3 - Through-Zero Multiphonic Signal Generator

Bit of a bugger to tune this isn’t it... Followed the instructions in the manual (09:00 / fund) and I can get the initial tuning right, but the tracking up to the next octave C is waaaay off. And yes the TZFM is set to full CW and both switches are off. Yeah same. Mine stopped tracking more than a ...

Re: Joranalogue MORPH 4 - Dimensional Modulation Array

Excuse my ignorance, is there a big difference between Morph 4 and a Doepfer 135-1 with a morph controller? Not hating, i have a Generate 3 :) The most notable difference is M4's ability to modulate the position and span parameters for each channel. This expands the possibilities from only interpol...

Re: Joranalogue CONTOUR 1 - Slew Limiter/Function Generator

Can anyone tell me whether the comparator patch described in the Maths manual is possible with the C1? The idea would be to mix an audio signal (a drum beat, say) with an offset, and patch this into the input on the C1. When the amplitude of the audio signal exceeds the level of the offset, it woul...

Re: Joranalogue COMPARE 2 - Dual Window Comparator

Here's a fun application for C2: dual set/reset latch. Each window comparator can be used as a latch. Assuming +5 V gate/trigger signals are used for set and reset, turn the shift knob to its minimum position and size to 3 o’clock. Next, connect the output to the size CV input. A rising edge applied...

Got it and love it. Question if i may. What chips are the VCA based on ???
What ICs are used for the VCAs isn't that relevant; it's how they are used and the surrounding circuitry that mostly determines the level of performance. But to answer your question, M4 uses the SSI2164.

When mixing audio signals would the first section be quieter than the second section? I hope thi...

We're continually shipping out new units, but they're going very fast. I advice to check with your dealer of choice.
