Re: [IN STOCK] L-1 Power System.

I'm not able to use the drill map files on my computer - I can't open AI or CDR files. Are you able to publish them in PDF or JPEG?
Thanks!

I honestly could have used this thread four years ago. And three years ago. And a month ago. Thank you. Bookmarked.

Re: Intellijel 4U Case Joiner Plates

@OP - I would be tempted to send intellijel an email asking if they intend to create similar plates for the Palette range if they are not you could always find someone who has a bit of woodworking skills (or similar in plastics or metal) - if you don't - and get them to make the end pieces for you....

Re: Intellijel 4U Case Joiner Plates

You guys are all correct about these being for the previous generation. I've had that confirmed from Intellijel, who admitted that they have had to cancel orders due to the confusion. I don't know why Intellijel and Control-Mod can't just take these off their sites.

Re: Intellijel 4U Case Joiner Plates

I think they are the intellijel 4u cases that were available before the palette's Yes you are correct, it seems they still show as out of stock on some websites. Damn, I’ve just betrayed my noobishness with this comment :hihi: But that brings an important point for the OP. These plates won’t be com...

Re: Intellijel 4U Case Joiner Plates

Sorry if I'm being a bit thick. So there are two pieces per side? That's eight screw holes, but there are only three rail bolts on each side. I'm trying to line it up visually in my mind - maybe it's just been a long day - but I can't quite get there. I think I might be able to understand the longer...

Intellijel 4U Case Joiner Plates

Does anyone have any basic information on these? I can't find any documentation, though I know they don't work the same way as the 7U. I'm not looking for anything complicated. How do they connect? By the photos, they must connect differently than the 7U joiners. Intellijel also implies that more th...

Re: Vocoder modules

L-1 has a pretty awesome traditional 24-band analog vocoder. Not cheap by any stretch, but L-1 stuff is incredible quality. You can get this DIY if you're brave. I have a PCB/panel set I haven't started on yet. Best part about this module is you can get it with the Muff Wiggler cats on the panel! ht...

Re: Solder Removal

I use a Hakko FR-301 It's spendy but I've never damaged a compnent with it..and the sheer amount of time saved is worth it alone. I'm still learning but the first time I saw another tech use one, he recapped all the voice boards on a Memorymoog in under an hour, casually while we were talking..I kn...

Re: Modular Addict taking a break?

I'm getting a bit concerned as well. If nothing else, they have links to important build docs on there. Even if they're not selling right now, it would be good to have access to those. It would be really nice if they'd post some kind of honest statement about what's going on.

Re: Random Source LEDs

I'm trying to recollect, as it's been a couple of years since I built mine. I don't think Mouser or Digikey have low-current amber LEDs. If you are willing to go with orange, Digikey has one that meets the specs (5mm, 2mA forward current): https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/kingbright/WP7113L...

Re: Modular Addict taking a break?

Whatever's going on, it's not a good look. At very least put a real explanation on the landing page rather than some ambiguous attempt at humor. I've been dealing with them successfully for years, but even for me this is off-putting.

Re: FEEDBACK Modules Appreciation!

Looking at some DIY stuff there, and confused, some clearly show thru-hole PCBs, but the BOM states 0603? Like the LO-Fusion VCF, I'd prefer 0805 over TH and suck at 0603. Not sure what ya get with these. The Lo-Fusion is through-hole only as far as I know. Some of the modules, like Static, have bo...

Re: Behringer ARP 2500 modules

They've shown a pin matrix prototype (or at least part of one) for the Synthi clone, so they may be able to leverage that technology for this. Assuming either actually gets built.
