found some tutorials and such but this helped a lot... http://sequence15.blogspot.com/2014/10/the-ota-and-why-its-important.html for some reason, it took me some time to realize that there is an extra pin on the 3080 OTA in that schematic :doh: two circles meant to represent a current mirror maybe?

thanks! didn't realize the symbol went with the opamp. never seen that before but it makes sense. so im guessing it just indicates a current output as opposed to a voltage.

identify the symbol on the chs/serge schematic?

on the top left input of the smooth generator theres two circles at the output of the opamp. can anyone tell me whats going on right there? trying to figure out why/how this circuit works.
