Just a reminder about the upcoming Dove Sequencer that is discussed in this thread: https://modwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=243173&hilit=Dove+Sequencer It's three spaces wide but it's going to be packed with features and it looks really promising. Re: [Build Thread] 157 spaces of fun! (All Panels Designed)

Thank you always for such kind words. From the start I wanted to make something that was truly **mine** and I think I’ve succeeded in that. Even though hundreds of people all have some of the same modules as me, none of them will look like mine! Sometimes it’s the fried and true Moog look, other tim...

Re: [Build Thread] 157 spaces of fun! (All Panels Designed)

I have designed my final four front panels - and sent them off to my printer to get them made. For those of you that are curious about how I make my front panels: 1. Design panel in Illustrator 2. Re: [Build Thread] 157 spaces of fun! (Now making one module per week!!)

Excited to see what the smokey skulls look like. Wanna know what's better than a synth with skulls on top of it that have smoke come out of their eyes? Skulls with smoke and CV controlled RGB lights inside. Just an idea. Looking great! :tu: I’ll be doing that stuff in v2 - this synth wall is just t...

Re: [Build Thread] 157 spaces of fun! (Now I working on a Vocoder!!)

Ok… so the “one module per week” thing is getting kicked to the curb because I don’t feel like ordering parts for a few months. News of Small Bear retiring, I blew all my money on buying the rest of the orange knobs I’ll be needing. I counted up needing about 200.. so I ordered 250 knobs!!! I enjoy ...

Hey Fellow Builders - here’s hoping you can help me out with my build... —On the Vocoder Analyzer, where does the Vocoder Display get connected into it? Is it through PSK 1 or PSK 3? What is the unused one on the Analyzer for? On the Display, I am assuming it is PSK 4 that goes to the Analyzer? On t...

Re: [Build Thread] 157 spaces of fun! (Wiring Question)

I did laugh and did consider doing one of the base costs as orange… but the colors need to balance. The pipe carrying the smoke is going to be painted orange 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Made a little progress last night: THE 3 sloths are done! These ones were nice and easy to build. It is true what they say, SMD is quite...

Have you thought about painting it orange? Some people like orange, you might wish to give it some thought! Maybe with white, even!! —————- Before painting it white, and after cleaning up the glue seams - I’m going to hit it with that hammered metal spray paint as a base coat to give it some texture...

@Kawouddd Loving all the bright colors for knobs and nuts on that NLC system. Crayola Deathstar is certainly a fitting name! @cartertools I've always enjoyed seeing the numerous ways people create front panels at home. Your infill method looks very nice. Do you have your own CNC machine you use for...

Re: MU: Super Mini Modular synth project construction journal.

If you are saying you aren’t a true 5U user, than neither is my project. The only qualities of 5U it has, which I think yours has as well, is the panel height, 1/4in jacks, and the same PSU. Everything else is custom. My panels are both massive, and a lot more dense than the standard 5U.. but yes u ...

Re: [Build Thread] 157 spaces of fun! (Progress update)

After building dozens of modules and accumulating a shit ton of parts, you’d think it would be easy to just jump in on a Monday morning and build a module or two... nope! I get to the 99% mark and realize I need a few parts. Oh the fun of module building. Once I get to the “I can’t build any farther...
