Re: Tayda what is the consensus?

Just noticed they have dropped the Standard Shipping option for Ireland. Would have needed just a few ICs for around 10 USD so not really worth it - especially as easily goes over the VAT limit then... ive had a couple of orders break the vat limit recently and not been stung, even with the dhl shi...

I don't get solder wick. I have it, and I've tried using it, but it's no good. I'm probably using it wrong. :p
i used to think desoldering wick was rubbish but it turns out i was just using a shitty brand. now i use techspray pro wick and its great.

Re: Eurorack Benjolin DIY

Didnt know the v2 of the tseng pcb addressed power, volume and 2164 protection issues - thanks for the info. (The schematic on his github that says it has some fixes doesnt include these changes though). sorry just to be clear i was only referring to the pot issues, although i never experienced the...

Re: Eurorack Benjolin DIY

mistakes were only on v1 of the tseng pcb, there was a v2 produced that fixed these. there's a resistor change that can make the main out louder at the cost of losing some character from the filter, not sure if thats what youre referring to? there's some cross modulation not present in this diy vers...

Validate that the attenuation pots are working. If not then check the 4051 power (~3.3V), INH being at ground and MUX_ADDR_x pins (A, B, C) from the processor. If all those look good then the 4051 might be bad.
thank you sir! it was a dodgy 4051, working perfectly now.
